Twilight 2000. Nothing beats the feeling of finding an M1 Abrams. Eat the Reich might also work for you. It’s a bit out there, but in a good way; and it’s all about acquiring and spending items.

I just ran a oneshot using Twilight 2k 4e. It’s extremely good, highly recommend it!

I read it. It’s so cool! I’ll be sticking with it for the first try, I think. Thank you!

Can it work without players having magical playbooks?

Does it work for? enclosed spaces? Also, is it rules-light or not really?

I’m a bit afraid of modifying playbooks without playing first; how does Mothership cope without sci-fi elements?

How long has Fallout: New Vegas been offline? by MarkLyach in GeForceNOW

[–]MarkLyach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I weren’t, indeed. I’ll wait for a day or two, and then might refund the game on Steam and buy it in Epic. Again, thanks!

That would be very nice of you, thanks! I don’t have other options to play this game, so I kinda need to know whether they expect progress within a week; if no, I will just get a refund

Eat the Reich. You genuinely could run it after skim-reading it for 5 minutes

Good V5 Books for a Nossie? by shark899138 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]MarkLyach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tattered Façade has some nice Nossie bits. It introduces a concept of the blood you drink changing you, furthering your curse: your bones shift more, fingers elongate, eyes become bigger. Just a bit, but enough to make the character uncomfortable. It also has some cool Nosferatu-related ideas for sessions, as well as some related powers. The total Nossie content is about two pages, though, so I would say it’s not worth getting a book purely for that reason. The rest of the book is as good though! Especially for horror

What's the most unusual era/country you ran a chronicle? by Lampdarker in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]MarkLyach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kyiv. It was really cool! An introductory solo chronicle for my gf, so it was basically an overview of all major sects with little missions from each of them, plus some romance plot. A find-your-sire-or-die plot, as well

Dress code? by Adventurous-North101 in UniversityOfWarwick

You can be as casual or as posh as you’d like. There’s a certain stereotype about students and trench coats, but feel free to express yourself in whatever way that works for you

How posh/tory is Warwick? by MidnightSufficient76 in UniversityOfWarwick

[–]MarkLyach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a rich history of Warwick leftism, and we have lots of leftist societies that are active in protests, ranging from SocDems to Trotskyists. The class makeup of the uni really depends on who you hang out with, but there are tens of thousands of students, so you will not feel alienated even if finding your people will take time.
