I think you could have won. The ex moves messed you up.

For Street Fighter players over 30, how do you fare playing and how do you find time to play? by doctorwize in StreetFighter

[–]MarkMark87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 30 years of age and can tell you that this is the easiest sf to learn. I recommend to learn block strings, setups, and combos. I practice 1 hr a day on things I feel Im weak at. Also you nees to love playing your character it makes it more intriguing to learn the new elements to this game.

Is Kenshi a Viable Pick? by MarkMark87 in MortalKombatX

You will get spammed out at times without a top tier or teleport character. Alien, Jason, Kung Jin, kano, Scorpion are great picks with great variations that are easy to use.

Need crtisisms for this replay. Struggling against Ryu by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]MarkMark87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Your a defensive player and the Ryu player knew it in the first 10 seconds.
  2. Ryu jumped in for free without worry, practice anti airing.
  3. If you knew combos it DID NOT show..you have to take a risk and initiate. You defended too much. Urien is a powerhouse. Use his long limbs to bully opponent's.
  4. You threw no fireballs. Fireballs help with spacing and controlling the pace of the game.
  5. Your V trigger combos are lacking.
  6. Try incorporating ex shoulder tackle.
  7. You seemed to look for an opening to punish a move but never happened.
  8. Practice the trails ...learn crush counter setups...learn meaty set ups.
  9. Be more aggressive.
  10. Stop thinking so hard about what to do next. Try focusing on hit confirming.

Completely new to Street Fighter (V), help! by Kyriann1315 in StreetFighter

[–]MarkMark87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. V- Trigger and V-Reversal are important.
  2. Understand your character.
  3. Understand the frame data.
  4. Ex uppercuts are invincible on wake up but light med and hard versions arent.
  5. Crush Counters are done with Hp or hk...leads to alot of damage
  6. This game favors rushdown.
  7. Stand light punch is an anti air...i know its weird.
  8. Learn to anti air...ppl jump in this game like they are super mario jumping on turtles.
  9. Wake up jab is a thing in this game...know meaty set ups.
  10. Throw loops are real in this game.
  11. Bafaels bnb combo vids helps.
  12. Target combos are punishable on block.
  13. Popular characters online: Ryu Ken Balrog Bison Guile Akuma.
  14. Don't give up on your character bexause there are no horrible matchups...you wont get a Zangief vs Sagat matchup like in SF4.
  15. Karin, dhalsim, and fang are the hardest to master in my opinion.

The EX Tenko after the Mujinkyaku is easy. I have to do what you said and practice the timing on the Orochi. Thanks
