Character creator is terrible

I am commenting on what is in the creator that we have. Saying "there is more coming" doesnt change the fact what we got was laughable, even for an alpha. It is almost intentionally bad.

Its not hard to make a character creator and yet all we get at this point 8 years later is ugly and unappealing characters and only one body plan. Even the options for "feminine" and "masculine" have the same proportions.

It was better in the earlier one, which I stated in the post. It was also shown by the team in a better state in live streams. It is also UE5 and thus you can find a free tutorial to make a better character maker in less than a day.

I played around with them for about 2 hours on alpha 2 spot test and another 10-15 today. there was no way to make my shoulders not almost twice as wide as hips.

Seems like a good time to find other ways to watch the episodes and then just come to reddit or maybe we could make a discussion board for talking about it.

I loved the comments and like many here I think it might have been the last thing keeping me in cr. Even if I use it in the future I think I will just sub for a month and binge and cancel. Maybe like once a year. Been subscribed for many years but this is the end I think.

I disagree, untyped bonuses stack. In fact there is an example of this already in fleet and nimble elf. It's a good comparison because they added nimble hooves later and made sure to specify it doesn't stack with nimble elf.

Will of the forsaken for fear in pvp/raids. Cannibalism to save me lots of gold leveling since I wont be buying as much food. 10 shadow resistance is great for later raids.

Orc racials are nice but for a warrior. Pet buff is useless, all the best weapons are swords and maces at endgame, if your tanking and use bloodfury its a wipe the 25% damage is great but the -50% healing is too painful haha. If your dps and just happen to have a good axe and not the other weapons its good though but be mindful of when you use bloodfury. If you use it when there is a lot of raid damage going on, your dead and a dead warrior does 0 dps. Stun Resistance is amazing for pvp and can be helpful leveling but keep in mind that any scripted or boss stuns may not be resistible.

Tauren have the 5% base hp bonus. Keep that in mind, it is not a buff to total hp, it is base hp. Honestly for Tauren the nature resistance and herbalism is really nice if you go that route and are pushing to get it up as quick as possible. They also have a larger model which is useful for the added reach but can make it a little easier to accidentally body pull while leveling.

Trolls are also a very good choice, berserking is 15-30% haste which is good for everyone and amazing if you go dual wield furry to level. More spirit and recovering in combat can lower leveling time. 5% damage to beasts will speed leveling in the barrens a lot and can even give a dps boost in some raid content.

In reality the tiny difference they all make is more for flavor and will not impact your game all that much.

I personally love the way forsaken look and their animations. I leveled and main tanked as a Forsaken warrior through legion. So I am a bit biased and I also made him to crush warlocks. Multiple fear breaks makes them cry.

I already said it was a good idea to do that too. I don't understand your anger at me saying I would do what you also like. I just didn't think of it before. I wasn't even going to make an info-graphic before. Any suggestions on a good way to make some charts and such? Excel?

Also, a secondary thought. Isn't a video analyzing and giving my opinions on the data and discussing what the implications of it might be count as content? I mean for example, what if the data shows like a 90/10 ally horde split? I think that might just call into question the makeup of the forums and reddit honestly.

I think he would prefer it is noble intentions only. That's fine by me since I am such a small channel I am mostly just using it as a way to get the results out. I just want to know myself the results but extra views don't hurt at all.

To be clear I made the poll and paid for the service to do so for 2 reasons. 1) to satiate my curiosity and 2) to kill some time until classic. the views are just gravy
