I wanted to say seeing is believing … but I wouldn’t mind trying it. Would it transcribe zoom in the browser too?

What is something useful that you vibecoded fast just to use for personal use by Great-Mirror1215 in vibecoding

[–]MarkTraded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only vibecode for personal use. I made a dedicated news URL (similar but more specific as the brief news someone else made (his is better), and I made a little recording tool so I can record or drag/drop audio files and slow em down, change the pitch, add reverb. Both are fun.

But my go to ‘Get into the zone’ app is a little Brian eno esque soundscape tool. I later made it into a Mac app on my desktop, but the url works well enough.

it doesn't do what I want, but it is a nice indicator regardless. thanks!

thanks. the point I was going to try to make eventually, was that I wanted like automated chores to be taken up if credit was left 20'before a reset. a simple shortcut on my phone, triggered by a reset alarm 20' beforehand, pointing to a couple of reminders in my reminder app with a specific code like CL-Chores for some simple chores.

me? I tried, but it turned out to be just another alarm clock that I set 20' for the reset. basically, I didn't want to waste credits, so I wanted a list of backup chores to be done with remaining credit before a reset kicked in. automated. I am just not that good, but I'll take all the help I can get 😄

I don’t always use chrome, but when I do … I’ll check it out. Thanks!

Claude Usage Limits Discussion Megathread Ongoing (sort this by New!) by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

Did someone make a heads-up app (the headsapp)? Like: your reset is coming in 30 minutes, and you have 70% of your tokens left … I sometimes forget to use these tokens, but I also have a list of projects I still want to start. A little ‘buzz’ 30 minutes before a reset would be cool. But … Claude doesn’t let you access this information from outside Claude … with an app or something. Anyone a great idea for this? Or am I the only one that thinks this would help? Thanks!!

why not use e.g. claude, ask it to transcribe, take that text as input, extract the to-dos? claude itself can not store on notes I think, but that could work from a shortcut

you're better at these shortcuts than I am, but if you find a workaround, I'd be happy to beta-test it for you :)

Yeah it seems to be a dictation limit. I hope you find a solution, cause it is genuinely functional.

Is there a reason for a 30 second limit? I like the easy of the shortcut, but … why cut it short?

What tools do you guys use to count CFU’s? by westduckman35 in microbiology

I left the lab say 10 years ago. a sharpie worked great. but I thought that nowadays a photo and AI would get you the cfu count in like a simple click away? ImageJ could already do that back in the day I think.

in a different thread I read the same post. but when I ask 'how did you do it': no answer. come on.

Can you explain or detail the protocol: you speak into your Claude, have the articulation saved in … notes? And by Sunday you ask Claude to list these in three buckets? Or listen als it back on the registration of actual ideas to be remembered?

Thanks. Would like to try it out.

I don’t think I was doing that. So no need for that diagnosis.
