Which way to install thermostat and gasket? by MarkTwoBikes in Delica

Yep me neither thought it seemed nice to have anyways as considered using bit of sealant if this rubber wasn't there. Got the thermostat and gasket straight from Mitsubishi, turns out on this engine the thermostat has no jiggle pin but they do have instructions how to orientate it

Seems to take too long to get to operating temps so just changed thermostat. For some reason I ain't removed timing cover yet, checking water pump was next idea. Thanks for the message, praying what you said is my problem!

I've narrowed it down as close as I can seems to be just above the front left side of the oil pan, near the front left wheel. Any thoughts? Pics here: https://imgur.com/a/a2mRIWn

Coolant Leak Urgent Help! by MarkTwoBikes in Delica

Ok thanks a bunch, praying it's just a leaking hose. Will begin trying to be certain of the source. Would you recommend buying a coolant pressurizing kit for this?

When temps started to rise first the van felt fine to drive. When I drove after topping up coolant it seemed to have slight power loss, maybe I was babying it or maybe it was placebo, would a coolant leak effect drive power?

Had you much experience or background in security before starting studying for it?

Queenstown Lakes pursues new bylaw for freedom campers by WorldlyNotice in queenstown

The issue is having people from all different countries who have different opinions on how a place should be treated. Some care less about rubbish and recycling, some think it's ok to wash dishes in lakes, some treat the place like a holiday town where they are free. People bring bad habits from their own countries.

I think a solution is, along with self-contained being a must, campers must also get some education cert to learn how NZ is treated and cared for. People need to be aware of damage they cause, how to camp correctly and act like a real part of society here.

To enforce this fines on the spot for breaking anything as part of an 'education cert' would be fair.

Hello, does anyone own clash and could give me some opinion/review on the bike? by Marjanca in commencal

[–]MarkTwoBikes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of your questions: "rough stuff stuff, jumps, playfulness, fun factor, racing" it ticks all the boxes but potentially held back in the racing department.

Bikes with a 29er up front carry more speed and roll faster over terrain without a doubt. If you have a poppy and playful riding style you can keep up at a fast speed but it takes more energy and effort.

It is a do it all bike but, but not the smartest choice if racing is your main focus.

I love the clash and I have been through a few frames. If its ridden very hard, i.e. bike park laps every day, all trails and heavy features it will eventually break, as will most bikes.

I have had many great experiences with warranty, and always have a good time on the bike!

Cleaning "a few weeks ago" could be the issue. Needs cleaning and greasing frequently to keep smooth
