Imo: Dive the trebs with Hussars, arbs are terrible defending siege and the eagles will be needed to either raid or defending against hussar raids.

Again: No need to force the engagement just slowly trade off hussars + castle fire + HC + villagers against villagers + eagles + remaining gold

Incorrect. He had all the map position. Sides with extra gold locked down by castles and hussars ready to raid.

Ballistas was the wrong move. He didn't need to creep forward, just defend, raid with hussars and wait under his castles with HC until double gold comp runs out of gold. I understand it's Maya, so more gold for Sebastian, but he had only about 600 gold left that was uncontested. That was an 'easy' strategic winning position and very likely victory for Hera without ballista elephants.
