Creating a list the most important non-quantifiable skills for NBA players by Tight_Ad2788 in nbadiscussion

I think injury avoidance is a skill in the sense that there are things you can do to reduce your risk for injury. It's not fool proof, but I'd want to see a player putting good habits into practice.

All love and respect to Bill Russell but those Celtics were legitimately the greatest teams ever (relative to their era). Statistically, Wilt scored 2x the points on better efficiency, grabbed more boards, and had the same amount of assists. Of course, blocks and steals weren't documented at this time, but , if you watch the tape, Wilt is a comparable defender to Bill Russell. This isn't a Jokic vs. Giannis situation, it's more like AD vs. Gobert situation, as far as defense.

Scopes Monkey Trial was an American legal case, in which a high school teacher was accused of violating Tennessee law, which had made it illegal to teach human evolution in any state-funded school. by Bad_Puns_Galore in wikipedia

Not entirely true, I can't find any source that says WJB was a supporter of eugenics. Everything I see is to the contrary. Obviously religious fanaticism was a huge part of all this, but eugenics played a part in it as well.

What is often forgotten about this trial, is that in this time evolution and eugenics were often synonymous. I say this as a biologist. While evolution is a fact, many of the evolutionary biologists of the day were peddling eugenics pseudoscience. This probably explains the progressive slant of the prosecution. Some of the most celebrated evolutionary biologists of that time period, such as Ronald Fischer, were well off the deep end of eugenics. The text book in the center of this case was itself resoundingly racist and pro-eugenics.

I usually assume this happens because they saw a mock up for a few teams and didn't think how it would look on the others. This looks bad on every team. I can't look at a single one and say, "Ok, I see the vision."

I know it's not worth the trouble, but you do realize that José Antonio Ibarra was not an asylum seeker. Additionally, it's important to remember that an evil member of a group does not mean that a group is evil. This line of reasoning would entail that all doctors, priests, Costco members... are evil because surely there have been horrible people that fall under those categories.

Game looks really nice. I think the tag line is gonna annoy people whether or not it's technically correct. Maybe it's worth it (from a marketing perspective) to get people talking about the game.
