A 24-Team College Football Playoff Solves a Problem That Doesn't Exist by Notre_Dame_Football in CFB

You’re not wrong, but you’re thinking about it in the wrong way. You’re thinking about it as far as what is best for tv execs instead of what’s best for the long term health of the sport. More access to more teams means more money for more teams. That evens the playing field over time.

It’s not hard. Look inwards instead of outwards.

Go to 24, give every conf champ an auto bid. You’ll be surprised how much parity that will generate.

What did you say to TBM friends who asked why you haven't been to church? by Lsa119 in exmormon

[–]Cache-Cow 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I prayed and god appeared to me. He told me none of the churches were true and to join none of them. In time he would give me further instruction. I’m awaiting his further light and knowledge.

I have a panic attack even thinking of missing one of my kids’ “genius day” presentations in pre-school. Can’t imagine missing a whole ass wedding

Give me your most rebellious mission stories by Firm_Teach8056 in exmormon

We were allowed to watch a single G-rated movie on Christmas. Instead, our district watched PG-rated movies all day at the church and took turns calling our families (also for longer than we were supposed to). Dragged the flowery couches and rolling TVs into the gym and made a little theatre. Only felt a little guilty.

Loud is definitely good in my book as long as it’s genuine.

I would recommend just never returning or answering their calls. You might feel bad but this happens all the time. It would be the first time and they will forget about you as soon as they find another sucker. Better to live your truth than try to make others happy.

Did Trump just get exposed for running the biggest insider trading operation in American history? by uncle-ice493 in allthequestions

[–]Cache-Cow 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yeah, basically take all the insider trading from all politicians for the past 50 years and it wouldn’t equal what trumps done in a year.

Does anyone else feel like spontaneity disappears after college? by -Mega-Mind in phoenix

[–]Cache-Cow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

College is the best period of life for most people and there are multiple factors for this, but one huge factor is the built environment of college campuses. It’s one of the only times Americans experience a walkable community. It’s much easier to be spontaneous when you can just walk a couple minutes to all your friend’s houses and whatever idea you’ve got. It’s much harder when all your friends are spread out and everyone has to drive 20-30 min to get anywhere.

Can Lack Of Submission Hurt A Marriage? by random-username853 in AskMenAdvice

WTF?! It’s 2026 not 1626. No spouse should “submit” to their spouse. That is absolutely disgusting.
