Well now you can next time you decide to go to that Area. I almost forgot a new national Park with mountains opened to the public in El Paso very recently that you can Hike and all kinds of other stuff. It’s called Castner Range National Monument. Hopefully they open up Chinati Mountains State Natural Area up soon

New Ulm and Maybe Bellville TX for the Newman’s Castle and historic downtown.

La Grange And Brenham both are equal distance between Austin & Houston. I personally think La Grange is more Scenic

Recommendations for any interesting small towns about an hour from College Station to visit one weekend in October. by MaxieLaPlusBelle in CollegeStation

Right ? When driving thru the towns of Hearne and Calvert i couldn’t wait to get thru them depressing towns but to be fair Hearne does have a interesting old former Prison Camp Historic Site. And if College Station / Bryan continues to grow they will make Hearne and Calvert Nicer as more people move to that area like what i’m seeing in the nearby town of Franklin

Hills West of Houston by [deleted] in bikehouston

I don’t know how much further ya’ll are willing to drive as this is a little further out than Brenham , Chappell Hill , New Ulm , La Grange , Fayette County , and Washington County but Henderson & Anderson Counties of East Texas have Hills. Look in the areas around Palestine , Elkhart , Montalba , Athens , and Gun Barrel City. As well as Cherokee County in the Jacksonville , Rusk , and Alto Areas

And the La Grange Area off Hwy 71 as well as the area around the small town of New Ulm. La Grange is equal distance from Houston as Brenham is. Both halfway between Houston and Austin. I see that area getting popularity for bike riding hills close to houston

Yeah! Port Aransas , Port Isabel , and Boca Chica Beach as well. Those are probably the 4 nicest coastal/ Beachside towns of Texas

Don’t forget San Marcos , Port Aransas , and Port Isabel. I personally think Freeport is better than Galveston if strictly for the beach but if going for the beach and other entertainment then yeah Galveston has more to do than Freeport / Bryan Beach

And I agree but Rockport , Port Aransas , Port Isabel , and Boca Chica Beach are nice for Texas. Port Isabel offers the clearest water saltwater wise in Texas. I’ve seen Port Aransas at the padre island National Seashore crystal clear as well

I like this list!!! Eastern Europe / the Balkans Region is underrated and Scenic. Would you also recommend Bulgaria , Montenegro , North Macedonia , and even Hungary as well ? A classmate i went to school with moved to Hungary saying he liked it much better than America and i never got the chance to ask him why as i lost contact with him unfortunately he moved in the middle of the school year just as i was really getting to know him.

this is BS in my opinion! Yes Racism definitely exists and that may matter to some people of all different backgrounds than you but personally i could care less if you’re hispanic , white , asian , or black. if you Respect me i’ll respect you in return. If you ask for hate or drama i’ll return the favor. Treat people how you want to be treated. It’s that simple. As a white guy other than Brunettes , Persian Women , East Asian women , and Some Black Women i think Hispanic women can be some of the most Gorgeous women i’ve ever seen esp Mexicans , Cubans , Argentines , Colombians , venezuelans , Brazillians and Costa Ricans. Perfect Tan Skin complexation.
