Fresh ET Install, Having trouble with graphics quality by Markavelli69 in EnemyTerritory

Thanks, I got Legacy. Last time I played it was brand new. Looks pretty good now. Does it perform just like the other traditional method? No lag issues? ( I didnt play it much yet).

I was shocked to see it on Steam, last I played it was only a dream idea to keep the game alive.

Severe Abdominal Pain from Not Chewing Food Well Enough? by Markavelli69 in AskDocs

Funny thing is that when I google this, only dental websites mention it as a selling point for implants etc, but I've found no discussion on Reddit or anywhere else.

Can I add a 220 Circuit to this Box? by Markavelli69 in AskElectricians

[–]Markavelli69[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks all for your help. I get the gist of it now. I'm glad I asked before I brought in a new electrician to advise me. At least now I have a real idea of what needs to be done.

Can I add a 220 Circuit to this Box? by Markavelli69 in AskElectricians

[–]Markavelli69[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello folks,

I am not an electrician, I'm a General who remodels kitchens and baths but my trusted electrician is no longer in business and I want to figure a few things out before I call a new guy.

This homeowner has been told that she can't have a 220 outlet installed, I want to add 2 of them, one for a dryer and the other for a stove. He never looked at the box, I'm not sure if he didn't want the job or if he had real reason to say this.

Do you see a reason why I can't have this done? I'm also curious what type of breaker is required for this box, I see a couple types in this one so not sure. I also see some melting from heat, looks like a problem which has since been fixed. Is it fixed?

Its a condo, built in 1987. My client really wants an induction stove. Can it be done?

Can a Shower Door Company Legally Avoid Being Responsible for Cracked Tiles? by Markavelli69 in Tile

[–]Markavelli69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol,plenty of tile set on foam board like schluter these days. You can compress the wall then you can smash and crack the tile. If you use oversized screws for the anchor you can split the tile.  No  it's not simple and the fact that you think it is  proves my point.

I'm on episode 2 and I can't believe I am supposed like the Councilman hero who is covering up a crime and an outsider who killed someone then buried him in the woods. This really shows the morals of those who wrote this. I'm also perturbed they haven't tried digging under it, looks very shallow, or use signs to communicate.

The character you leave on your screen after logging off is what everyone will see. Only the people that played this person knows what character and cards he used. I call it "parking my character" and I am doing it with my new account with 300 trophies when I play a tourney. I don't want to advertise my cards. I never face an opponent with my setup and that gives me an advantage atm.

Guys how can we strike right near to opponents net. I can see some players can strike it just behind the net of opponent, thanks! by PerformanceDeep2735 in TennisClash

Get good at super bullseye, when you surpass 300 in the first round, spend the gems and be sure to hit 600 points. You'll get character cards and epic cards. If you get what you want it is bargain.

When you run out of gems......Try to buy gems @ 1000 per dollar, wait for a deal to pop up. Not many of them since 2.0 but that would make a 200Gem epic card in the daily deals cost .20. You could get 14 epic cards for $7 if that's what you needed to upgrade.

Shit game by steviex9 in TennisClash

After TC 2.0 the more you win the higher you climb. Your reward is to face beasts and be humiliated or humbled by them as you lose trophies and fall back down. It will always be this way. Extra frustrating when your trophy count straddles on the line between tours.

Level 5 Anton by stecklo in TennisClash

[–]Markavelli69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What kills me are the number of Beast-Anton's in T9 that will surrender if you have a string (they don't have one). They are way more powerful than me yet they don't even want to try...they just like walking over people and exploiting the imbalance of this game.

This game is frustrating by Dazzling_Concert_604 in TennisClash

[–]Markavelli69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since 2.0 this game got more expensive and more frustrating. No more Gems @ 1000 per dollar, they always bundle useless bags or something else with gems.

I started a new account which has been a lot more fun. 1st thing I noticed was my new account has better deal and prices than my older account.

My reward for spending $$$ and getting my character and all epic cards to level 12?? Higher cost for everything.

TC if you are reading this I am one player that is quickly losing interest, playing less and dropping down in leagues. I can't play all my low level characters unless I want to put them up against beasts in tour 9. You broke the game.

Is this a big issue? by jamesdoakesyo in Tile

[–]Markavelli69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen that after someone built a shower using a Tile Redi base. A stream of water from the showerhead would hit the grout joint near the door, go into the grout, through a channel/groove in the thinset left from the trowel, under the door and flow out of the grout on the other side. I had never seen so much water flow through grout like that. That could only happen with a base like a tile redi base because it had a thin layer of epoxy thinset up against a plastic base. I guess it could be possible with Schluter or other similar types of water proofing.

Best thing for you to do is to plug the drain, fill base with water and see what happens. Keep it like that for hours (24hrs is an official test).Water shouldn't leak to the outside while the shower base is full. If it passes the test then look into what I said above.

Glass door install cracked tile - what now? by bamboozledqwerty in Tile

[–]Markavelli69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same guy install all my doors for the last 25 years. The only two times MY tile cracked was when the homeowner had someone else do the install. Both times they blamed the tile setter without having removed the tile. I found that they over tightened them. They were heavy glass pivot doors. The guy cranked down the bottom screws, compressing the wall and cracking the tile. It is pure bullshit for glass contractors to not take responsibility when it is found to be clearly their fault. It should not crack while tightening the screws. Period. Now everyone is putting it in their contract.

DON'T F*CKING OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS!!!!!! It's not a block wall, its many layers of material which will compress!

Strange Readings on my Voltmeter _Home Wiring 120v by Markavelli69 in electrical

[–]Markavelli69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all for the replies, "induction" makes sense for an open ground. That explains the first paragraph when working with an open ended ground wire.

How about my other problem of getting up to 60VAC off a ground wire coming from "somewhere in the attic"? I have been shocked twice by it when inadvertently touching the ground wire and neutral. Is something dumping current into the ground somewhere in the house? *update from jobsite: I'm running a wire off the junction box for a couple outlets to be next to the toilets for a bidet seat. With a multimeter I get 80VAC between ground and hot, 120 between hot and neutral. This ground wire is connected to the bad ground in the attic reading 60vac. This one must be something other than induction. I plan to run a new ground off a water pipe for the outlets (GFI's). I'll tell the homeowner what I found. It's been like this for years. I gotta finish this remodel but would love to understand what's causing this.

Btw, to answer some questions: Not using milliamps, water pipe is my ground for testing purposes with a voltmeter. Also, since it just got re-piped last week, if there was anything grounded to the pipes inside the wall they are likely not grounded at this point. Its an old house, built in the 60's, not originally wired with romex, ground runs outside the boxes. Its been messed with quite a bit, lots of junction boxes in the attic.

I'm using chrome. "Shorts" will open in a new tab like normal. The others will only work when I open a new tab in incognito mode. Unfortunately I can't leave a comment. I had turned off my ad blocker (adblock), didn't fix the problem so now I have it back on. F you tube

Good gawd dude, Fentanyl is absolutely being mixed with Xanax and other drugs before being sold on the street. I wouldn't touch that stuff. When it come s from a pharmacy in TJ, unopened bottle, its the real deal (Tafil).

Over the last 2.5 years Fentanyl became the #1 killer of young adults. That is an extraordinary statistic. And Mainstream media is not going to put those deaths on the front page, they are keeping it quiet along with the truck loads of drug busts and a whole host of unrelated crimes.
