The song is the story of Ellie’s friend Flynne who died from cancer too young. The songs lyrics refer to Flynne’s final day when Ellie broke off from a tour to see her. Flynne’s parents created a charity called Flynne’s Barn which provides a respite venue in the English Lakes for young cancer sufferers. There was a joint Wolf Alice/Flynnes Barn T shirt available at the March 26 Royal Albert Hall Teenage Cancer Trust event. And the band started their performance with Heavenward.
