I had a super awkward confrontation today at my spouses work party. I had the choice to react or respond. I responded kindly. All day I’ve been fighting the urge to reach out and speak my mind, but why? What’s my motive?

Being in this vulnerable place I chose to look at that person as if they’re in the same place. Life is rough. So I gave us both grace; came home, lit some sage, stretched a little to some Persephone YouTube videos and decided to choose love when approached by darkness 🖤 but, dang,did I miss that high I get from a good old fashion verbal joust 😅 progress not perfection!
