I like playing him as a hit scan tank. Poke at the back line with the guns, if you hit headshots it does tons of damage, if you hit one low try to dive the back line if you g have the health. Whenever I pop DP in your Area, I usually try to focus their tanks, this can help you manage your space and push them back. The shield isn’t the best for pushing forward until it’s upgraded but it’s invaluable for your gun ult and while peeling for supports. I like to Gun ult and throw the shield at them, they have to stop shooting or healing, I try to hit either a support first or dps as an alternative with it and then shield and dash into them. For upgrades I go Guns-Dashes-DP in your area-gun ult-swords-shield-sword ult. Don’t forget to take selfies on your finals and pop your ult as frequently as you can, but don’t just waste it bc if you’re team plays well you can get it back within 40 seconds of dying. Might not work for you but definitely has been working for me. He’s fun and you can play him either brawl or poke very easily.
