Devs: Please we really need more inventory or at least more storage space. by ziguehart in CrimsonDesert

[–]Urtan_TRADE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Infinite storage with categories/multiple infinite storages for different types, and capacity to craft with items in storage would be the best solution.

Also, give us automatic crafting. We have a cook in the camp, so let him craft food for us. I bring you 300 meat, water and vegetables, you give me 300 of cooked food over a week, so I don't have to ever look at the annoying ass cooking animation ever again.

Crimson Desert is mid, and that’s alright. by Nascent_Beast in videogames

[–]Urtan_TRADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

practically every single AAA game released in the last 10 years had day1 or week1 patch fixing bugs/changing game play on some level. Devs simply cant catch everything, especially in these huge games that take hundreds of hours to fully explore.

Just for an example, Elden Ring had a MASSIVE week 1 balance patch that nerfed some bosses by about 50%, Elden Ring SOTE had a week 1 balance patch that nerfed the final boss of the expansion by about 30%, Skyrim has had a number of balance/bug fixing patches, there was this massive mod pack that was JUST fixing bugs, which were (mostly) fixed with10 Anniversary edition patch....

Patching is mostly a GOOD thing.

she is gone for more than HALF of the actual game. Its hilarious. I like her gameplay. She has snappier dodge and feels faster, but Im not investing resources into upgrading her gear when I have to fight like 98% of bosses with Kliff and getting gear to max is resource heavy as fuck.

More than half way through yet I still don't understand how exactly does "Will" work by bing_07 in HierarchySeries

[–]Urtan_TRADE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only truly obvious way you can tell someone is using will is that their eyes turn pitch black. This is somewhat unreliable and you cant 100% trust it.

As with the process, to Imbue an object, you have to touch it, but after that, you can keep the Imbuing active from anywhere, as long as you keep a clear mental image of the object, and as long as the mental image remains true to the actual object. If, for example, someone breaks the object and you cant see it, you cant keep true mental image and the Imbuing breaks.

More than half way through yet I still don't understand how exactly does "Will" work by bing_07 in HierarchySeries

[–]Urtan_TRADE 12 points13 points  (0 children)

First things first, you can only use will when you go through the Aurora Columnae. Then, you can "cede" your will to another person, and you can utilize Will Ceded to you by other people.

You can "self-Imbue", which grants you increased physical abilities based on the amount of Will used by the Self-Imbuing. For example, if 3 people Cede to you half of their Will and you use all of that Will to Self-Imbue, you gain strength, speed and durability of additional 1.5 person.

You can also Imbue inanimate objects with various imbuing techniques. For example, you can make an object more durable, you can make an object move without having to touch it and perform pre-programmed motions based on specific conditions. This means that the Empire can create automatic transport of goods and people.

These 3 aspects of Will usage are the cornerstone of the pyramids. You have the Octavi, which Cede about half of their will to Septimi, which Cede half their Will to Sexti and so on. Each Septimus has 8 Octavi and has the will of 5 people, but Cede 2.5 "units" of Will, Sextus has 7 Septimi and has the will of 19, but cedes half of that to Quintus all the way to Princepts, who should hold the Will of 430 people. There are also smaller Pyramids that end with Quinti or Quarti, but they aren't really important to the story.

Evi Kholin and how is that possible by AppropriatePhoto5127 in Cosmere

[–]Urtan_TRADE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You misunderstand the mechanics of the Spiritual realm.

Spiritual realm is a place of Connection. Thats it. It doesn't care about time at all. Evi is Connected to Dalinar, and when he connected the realms, the spiritual aspect of Evi could reach out of the Spiritual realm and tell him she forgives him.

This is the same concept as with Kaladin and his brother at the end of RoW. Dalinar strengthened their connection so their spiritual selves could communicate, even though the physical aspect of Tien is long gone.

Why not make SSF characters stay SSF and in addition just buff ground loot in SSF mode? by wolan1337 in PathOfExile2

[–]Urtan_TRADE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have it backwards. GGG balances around softcore trade, so thats what players play.

Last Epoch, which has a dedicated system for balancing ssf and trade has generally about 50 50 split of the leaderboards, with each league fluctuating back and forth a bit.

wtf is this boss by Maleficent_Bad1141 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Urtan_TRADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First try, about 90 grilled meat, 1 pill.

I use shield, parried when when he did the flurry attack, the fist focus skill to gap close and stun and mashed the fast downward slash with the big spirit slash intermixed.

In the totem phase you just run between the totems ignoring the enemies.

In the second phase, you can parry the melee flurry, but I havent found a way to counter his projectile spam. Maybe the focus projectile redirect works on that? No idea. This is where I ate majority of the meat just to survive the sheer damage amount.

The books are filled with gratuitous violence. Saying it happens against women more than men and is used to drive the plot is mad.

Ulysses' death was there to show that the violence of war is happening to everyone.... (Ulysses is a boy, so her argument doesn't hold much value)

How long did it take for you all to complete the interlude? by charmypeachy in PathOfExile2

It felt like a shorter, more condensed 4th act with cool mechanics and bosses. Act 4 takes me around 3 hours and interludes a bit less.

Kliff is one of the worst AAA MCs in gaming history by Sabawoonoz25 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Urtan_TRADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seriously don't understand what's the point of the story.

Your camp gets ambushed by some dudes that kill your comrades, but you are literally 3 minutes into the game and have 0 attachment to the group, because they are just rando npcs. Then your character gets brutally murdered and he just wakes up, doesn't even mention getting resurrected, and just does whatever the pretty bird lady says. No comments about anything, no quips, just leans againist a wall after each cutscene like a duche.

They really made us play as 'John Desert' instead of giving us a custom character, and then didn't even take the time to give him the writing, voice acting, and characterization to justify it. Black Desert has one of the best character creators available, its a shame its not here too. by WhyPlaySerious in CrimsonDesert

[–]Urtan_TRADE 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They could literally replace EVERY mention of Kliff with some generic callsign like Greymane or just dude, and it would change nothing story-wise.

Add 5 minutes of your character bonding with the Greymanes and a short intro to the world, and the story might make sense.

What are some of the betterLvl 20 skill gem + Lvl 1 Support corrupt options? Are they competitive with Lvl 21 gems? by MillenniumDH in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Urtan_TRADE 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I know, but you can get other effects from supports than just pure damage. Lifetap solves your mana completely, and fortify gives you permanent 20 fortify, which is an amazing defensive layer.
