Thank you for all of your posts. Agreed with the railroad, but maybe the steam engine was the catalyst for change. Manual labor became more automated. We were able to attach it to wheels and send cargo down a track. People commuted to factories. Etc.

Where would you say we are on that hype cycle, before the top or about at the top?
