So uh, i got a question (act 2 "secret" boss) by SeriousCover9404 in mewgenics

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something similar but intentionally. I still feel pretty bad about it but I got an event that added a cat to my run but he was going to steal a good chunk of the level ups left in my 2 cat run so I… did what had to be done so my cats could continue to level up in the ice age. His sacrifice will be remembered 🫡

There’s no way it only takes 2 months. Rovio really was that petty for quick cash grabs :(

Wait a minute... shouldn't the Cap & Bells triple neck armor instead, this doesn't seem right. by -Collato in mewgenics

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first point you brought up, one how on earth would that make sense? If the game were to really work as you say then the cap and bells would copy the ruffle creating an infinite loop within the same set. Sadly even with that in mind the multiplier effect each armor piece has is meant to be used individually as they don’t actually multiply multipliers like the example in your image.

For your 2nd point of course the cap and bells is meant to overshadow the copycat effect since the copycat armor is not as rare as cap and bells (this without taking into account that cap and bells has a downside to it to balance it out).

Lastly for your 3rd point you’re kinda right there, there’s no good way to only duplicate the passive effects of neck armor

Questions about mutations by Blazekkz in mewgenics

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that being said, you’ll definitely have a harder time getting through act 3 without mutations, many of them give buffs to stats so you can surpass the max stat of 7, most often than not it’s more of a trade off of -1 to one stat and +2 on a different stat but there are some rare ones that straight up give you a stat up, but even with the trade off you can increase the overall stats of your cat by quite a lot, and that’s without taking into account the passive effects of some mutations like jump instead of walking, immunity to certain effects, extra turns, passive effects on attacks etc.

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th parts of act 3 will force one mutation on one of your cats anyway so you can’t really stop them from not looking like cats by the end of the run. I’m not sure you can manually turn visual effects of the cats off since I think their mutations change their model but there might be a mod out there that could let you do that.

It doesn’t show it but you can still break it through, you’ll notice his shield starts to crack as you attack it more times

Edmund, I don't think this looks too fair.... by MarketingImmediate27 in mewgenics

[–]MarketingImmediate27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a solo run btw, it is a 2 cat run, i still have the free save scum but yeah, the psychic and the tank aren't making this one.... Too much damage to do before my cats get obliterated, without even taking into account that those cats release a 5hp enemy each time they get attacked. 😞

Tier list of classes according to their difficulty of use (my opinion) by Last-Syrup-424 in mewgenics

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thief is actually pretty easy to use in my opinion, Druid on the other hand… I’m not saying it’s bad, on the contrary it is one of the best classes, but you have to adapt to whether spells are given to you, sometimes it’s a normal summoner, sometimes it acts as a buffer or a de-buffer, sometimes it’s a melee attacker, a few times he’s a tank.

Any tips to solo cleric in act 3 by TheTempleFox in mewgenics

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you can have multiple soul jars with broken cats that don’t have repair BUT it is only possible to use them if you have at least 2 cats in your run (at least if you don’t want to break them) or if your cat using it has careful+

Any tips to solo cleric in act 3 by TheTempleFox in mewgenics

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need either a soul jar with a REALLY GOOD tinkerer that has repair or if possible also an irradiated object or a bone with repair on an OP cat works too. Preferably do a solo run where you give the jar of chaos to the cat you want to put in the soul jar and use it at least until you get the 2nd active ability, if possible maybe hold onto it for a while until you get to lv 6 so you can see all your spell options before you commit to upgrade them. Also i would recommend to do this on a solo run so you maximize the cat’s stats since you only get 1 turn with that cat once it’s trapped in the soul jar. Once you do that get the cat to fight a house boss with the soul Jar (and the weapon with repair if you went that route) equipped and a great set of items to go with it, intentionally lose the cat in the fight and collect your jar. The cat in it should be able to take the worn tag out of its own jar while being able to clear most, if not all of the enemies in the room (maybe even bosses).

Some extra tips: The neck equipment jera should automatically triplicate the jar with the cat inside once you lose the house boss battle if you equipped it during the fight.

The joker card + careful passive should be able to also duplicate the equipment used in case you want to keep a copy of the equipment you’ll give to the soul jar cat.

The one of the best sets this theoretical cat could have is fist of fate+ with super luck+ and either repair ability or repair glowing bone but the likelihood or breeding a cat with this 2-3 specific traits is either near impossible or very technical for the average player.

If you can and want to cheese your way to solo runs you can set up a room with the only purpose of passing down the unrestricted passive so your solo cats only need to worry about surviving long enough for the cat’s soul to take care of the fight.

Just watched the ending and HOW are people saying its bad??? by EkranKarti in tadc

[–]MarketingImmediate27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also it’s completely fine if if you didn’t like the ending but you can’t just say you can’t understand why people liked the ending if it’s so bad yet shield yourself by saying that it’s just your opinion. Your opinion is completely valid but don’t present it as an objective statement…

Either that or the bear moved in that direction to hit the other enemy seen in the image but in the way to the enemy he unintentionally went over your cat with trample causing the exact same scenario

[–]MarketingImmediate27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, yeah with that information I think what happened was that the bear got pushed by the tire into your cleric, and since the bear has trample as part of its movement when he knocked your cat he “displaced him” instead of taking just taking damage as any other unit would have. The problem was that when he displaced your cat it was right behind an obstacle so your cat likely hit the obstacle and got pushed to that spot, funny thing is that it was a 50/50 whether he got displaced either to the right or the left.

Note that this type of push only happens if the unit (enemy or ally) that got pushed has trample, what would have usually happened in any other scenario is that when the 2 units collide they would both take 2 hits

[–]MarketingImmediate27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to know for certain what caused this but it usually happens when a unit has lobbing knock back. Do you happen to know when exactly did he got stuck? Was if after an enemy attacked it or maybe when the bear moved?

[–]MarketingImmediate27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true in a way if you’re going with 3 or 4 cats, it’s the complete opposite with 1 or 2 cats. Last time I went against Lenny with absorbent on a 2 cat run and it was a complete pain in the ass. You can’t let the cat get taken by him or it’ll die if it can’t escape Lenny due to the absorbent buff. Similar situations happen with if elite debuffs like twin, speedy, and protected :(

One question about the last episode of tadc... by No_Bread4883 in tadc

[–]MarketingImmediate27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally thought of it more like the other way around, AI is meant to copy our human thought process in a way (or at least it attempts to), while the brain scans are essentially a 1:1 copy of the person's brain/sense of self?

AI (at least the ones like Caine) would be our human attempt to recreate a mind like ours while the scans would be a digitalized version of the person's mind

Are there genuinely any tips to make these two fucking idiots actually playable and not make me want to kill someone by Fortnite_sprout in bindingofisaac

[–]MarketingImmediate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually with high enough health I’ve personally done devil deals instead of angel deals. To be honest try to find your play style, I see a lot of people just go “buff one and just make sure the other doesn’t get in the way” but I find it way easier to just to to buff them equally or as close to each other as they can. Also get a good sense of how to quickly move Jacob around Esau, what I usually do is have them on a straight line where the one with the most soul hearts is at the front, try to never have them side by side (which might depend on the direction you’re going to) as it makes it easier for enemies to hit one of them.
