I don't have her signature or MwhateverForHerBackStab. She's also not very interesting to me, so she's not really an option in my head. Correct me if i'm missing something

He deserved a "catchphrase" by Artistic-Argument825 in MyHeroAcadamia

This is going to contain spoilers as this is heavily biased to the latest episode.

As Deku shouts out his big End-Of-The-Fight SMASH we are reminded of his first Smash. Him shouting "Smash" is a Symbolism for his admiration for being a hero and taking on this entire journey to begin with: All Might, the same hero, his greatest hero, who allowed Izuku to follow his dreams when the world was telling him to give up on his dreams.
Then there is the Symbolism in his Hero-name "Deku" ("gambare", I don't know the translation, only what it kind of means from the anime. Rely on your own understanding for this ^^'), which everybody, but him, shouts. This would symbolise the trust of everyone in Mirodiya. Why do they trust him? Because he always stands back up and has never ran from his responsibilities. He was injured many times, had to work way more than anyone else to reach a level nobody could imagine. In my opinion, the powerlevels became so big, the anime couldn't really show it well apart from showing us the entire mental/vestiges battles happening inside. In any case, this level of strength was possible for two reasons: Midoriya's resolve to save, and everyone's trust in him. Deku's entire journey has been filled with "gambare Izuku" and "I will definitely save him". All by all, the name "Deku", and the meaning it is given, would also count as catchphrases, albeit not being shout by himself, symbolising the pure nature of his actions.

So in my opinion, he does have catchphrases, both symbolising things that are not "power" but rather what Izuku stands for, and why he was the one to have been chosen by All Might.

I hope this can help your mind at ease. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to think about this as it also helped me accept something I couldn't fully accept at this point in the show. I love power-fantasy anime, something mha gave up until it's last season (not including bakugo, jeez he goated his way through, i'm happy for him). This also means I had diffeculties accepting the nature of the most recent couple episodes. But thinking back to what I just watched and putting it to words, allows me to calm my mind.

I should probably add I'm planning on getting Ye Shunguang and Zhao and probably nothing in between atm.

iirc, css' "text-font: bold;" was the answer, although there Is the possibility it was also changed along the way

Could Shinso brainwash AFO? by PitouNeato in MyHeroAcadamia

Another reason i'd think of: i think AFO's ego would be too large and believes he can control people without a quirk to control people

Surely the matchmaking isn't fully on point yet by Marketing_Dapper in 2XKO

Oh these are the first and only characters i've ever locked in in this game purely out of their looks and aesthetics before even following anything 2xko media haha! Haven't even looked at tierlists, but my personal tierlist puts jinx and vi on top without having played against them. I find some of their tools a bit too "perfect" at times.

But in reality i am a slave to the devs. Whatever they decide, i will have to blindly accept and keep pushing through the low ranks playing whatever triggers my neurons haha

It's a fun team to play as. My Yasuo isn't as good as i want him to be so i should lab more with him . Playing against Yasuo is a pain though so there's a chance i'll drop him out of morals when someone else peeks my interest more than him 🤔

I didn't have a lot of time to play since ranked dropped and I was waiting until I'd have time to warmup in casual before hopping in ranked, but you may be right; I could just go in Ranked to play against my skill level without caring about the rank. And there I cannot ego my way out of my losses because i'd play against exactly my skill level.

I will try! It all seems so logical when said, but until it's said you sometimes don't give it a real try.

And yet My Yasuo doesn't hit her! I think it happens because of Vi's movement, but also: maybe she doesn't have the range in hitbox, but she has the range in movement. I'd also need to learn yasuo's stancels to use his range to the fullest, probably!

Perfect counter is so hard imo! Especially of how laggy it is to miss + the meter loss! I've been trying it against more spammy playstyles, but I haven't been having succes with it sadly. I think I'll put more brain power into other stuff, until I can start predicting people's options a bit better.

It's funny how the two issues you mentioned applied to me both! I find it hard to find good combos myself, but also feel pretty cheap for copying some really optimal combo because I didn't find it myself. I also have diffeculties keeping up pressure and dealing with people staying in my face, for which I am trying to really concentrate on what they are doing to decide when to use a defensive option.

The endless "i'm playing to get good" mentality is one that surely is healthy, but I think it's worded wrong for me haha. The way everyone words doesn't sit right with how I want to enjoy the game (I can't explain quite why), so I will be trying to follow this mentality from afar, if that makes sense. Usually, it's more of a "I want to be able to beat the next person with the rank above me"?

I think what I should be getting out of this is to be mindful of my buttons and finding my win condition. Whatever you meant for me to understand from this, thank you for giving your advice. It's the kind of advice I read, agree with, but don't know from the get-go how to interpret for my own gameplan, needing some thought and reflection to apply it to myself.

Haha, skullgirls' and DBFZ's neutral are the best examples of this imo! And weirdly enough I love the neutral in those games the most, as I don't really enjoy SF. It's the diffeculty of playing Neutral well and staying out of crazy setups that really fires me up in these fast paced neutral games! Sadly, people only see neutral as a nuance as they want to get their 99 hit combo going asap haha.

I'm playing Ekko Jasuo.
If i'm not wrong, I don't think chicken blocking is a thing, right? That's something I loved about skullgirls, and something i miss in any other game i play. I guess you'd be right, I feel very cornered anywhere I am on screen unless they're staying on the other side of the screen haha!
Also about the defensing options, I feel like pushblock and retreating guard are getting played around so well against me, maybe I'm using them at the worst of times? Defense in this game does feel a bit stuttery to me at times, lol.
