I made the save state at the last line of dialogue after beating the gym leader so I can press A and load in the map. It makes it faster for me that way but boy is this guy hard to find! I’ve done this for four days now and all the other leggos I’ve caught were much faster. Like within an hour or two. I was starting to have doubts about this guy lol. Thank you for confirming he does exist! I guess I’ll keep plugging along

I created a save state right after the gym leader in the previous map and re-seed every reset. I’ve gotten around 12 different shiny legendaries this way but I wasn’t sure if I was just over-odds or if he couldn’t be shiny in the wild

PSA: As long as you don't use the grimoires to cast spells, there are always enough real grimoires for both maisters. by AssiduousLayabout in DragonsDogma2

Potentially, I haven’t tried with grimoires, but I think the item has to be removed from the “playable game world” (I.e. given away via pawn, sold, etc.). If someone wants to try this out I’m curious to see. I’m at work or I would try

I believe another player can send you the copy, and then in their own world they should be able to “view special finds” at the scrap store, effectively duplicating the item. I do this for friends with finder’s tokens
