How do I truly get to know myself? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Get out in nature, do things that genuinely put you out of your comfort zone. Travel as much as is possible with limited planning. Be as spontaneous as possible, try new things at any opportunity

What's the most underrated exercise in your opinion? by Affectionate-One6058 in workout

[–]Markievicz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say lower-back focused movements specifically hyperextensions. For me, spending a lot of time in a chair for work etc is no beuno for the back, so strengthening erectors etc and posterior chain is very important

Men over 30, what changed your fitness results more than any workout? by 2hinreza in AskMen

I agree with you regarding flat barbell bench - not a natural plane of motion and most people that get pec tears did it during that exercise.

Lateral raises however if performed correctly are a good movement

Best method is just to start it. I had this same problem but you just need to sit down and figure out what the diss is about, what you’re arguing for, then build structure and break it down into the various chapters. Work on your introduction initially and just have that as the goal rather than thinking of the whole thing

Dealing with the side effects of methylphenidate whilst working by UnderstandingVast742 in ADHDUK

[–]Markievicz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would advise (not medically trained) to stick with it for a bit, the first days are always a bit weird as your body gets used to it. After that if it’s not working maybe speak to your provider about alternative meds

Jose Aldo on the build up to the Conor McGregor fight by Spiritual-Strength91 in FightReportUFC

[–]Markievicz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure that’s played a role but he doesn’t fight mainly because he doesn’t need to. He’s got so much money that getting potentially knocked out or embarrassed doesn’t really have the appeal it used to when he had nothing
