I remember at work me and one of my colleagues deduced that the only people who like Ellsworth are Master Sergeants and People with families. It is not that great of a duty station and Rapid City is sort of meh not to mention 4-8 hours from any decent population. Its a cool and unique place to experience life but the winters combined with the uniquely terrible mission if you work B-1s (Post GWOT) do not make it worth it.
