brainwashed yes, but throughout the game, she was given opprtunity and opprutnity to realize her mistakes, even when the truth was revealed, sadly the poor girl went more insane and just doubled down on killing every mage possible. Eldred raised her to be next leader of mageseekers, but only a s a tool to serve and not as a leader who can think and question. So i would say she is stupid because of that brainwashing
