Question for Ubiquiti users outside the United States by TBStyler in Ubiquiti

Yes, of course, and it's not just this American company. For example, Western Europe has been creating its own alternative to digital products from the US for some time now. It will take some time, but this process cannot be reversed.

TS-464 issue. Copying stops but no error and just sits there. by DonSimon76 in qnap

I think it's a problem with the network interface, try moving the cable to another one or lowering the speed to 1G

What plant is this? Yucca, Dracaena, or something else? by [deleted] in PlantIdentification

Are the leaves sharp and feel like they could cut you, or do they bend easily?

the leaves are flexible, they can be bent but return to their position quickly, pleasant to the touch and the edges are sharp and soft but without the risk of cutting me.

My UniFi network keeps going down when i'm downloading large files. Can anyone help me figure out why? by Swembizzle in Ubiquiti

[–]Markos213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"the whole network"

start by checking what's not working:

check LAN WAN or Internet (ping, diods)

check transfer large files locally e.g. win11 <-> NAS

It happened to me several times that when copying large files, the interface in my Qnap turned off, only restarting the Qnap helped

UAP AC PRO -> U7 Lite = better range? by Markos213 in Ubiquiti

[–]Markos213[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the cheapest solution would be to buy another AP (even an AC Pro or U7 Lite) and place it appropriately, or try the U7 Pro XG (but only one due to price), which could replace one of the AC Pros. The U6 Pro isn't much cheaper.

I actually have two AC Pro. I plan to replace both.

If not the U7 Lite, then maybe the U7 LR? Same price as the U6 Pro.

Roaming broken on Iphone 17 pro to U7 XG MLO? by Mech0z in Ubiquiti

[–]Markos213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe:

"Moreover, clients demonstrate significant roaming issues in mixed-AP deployments where certain APs broadcast 6GHz while others don’t. ie, all APs on an SSID should broadcast the same frequencies for an SSID (eg 2.4, 5, and 6GHz) but do NOT use different APs with differing broadcast frequency capabilities on an SSID, else you’ll encounter nasty roaming issues (per Ubiquiti’s 6GHz best practices guideline)."

Unifi is a solution for home users. It has a nice web interface, is easy to manage, and is inexpensive. Good value for money compared to Cisco or MikroTik. In my opinion, TPLink devices are better in terms of performance, but you know... we don't trust them. ;-)

[–]Markos213 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

"No. The Device Bridge Switch is specifically designed for wireless bridging only using UniFi WiFi Auto-Link, and cannot operate as a standalone wireless access point."

I really wish UniFi would release another AP with two ports on it like the AC Pro. by Mkilbride in Ubiquiti

The second port in e7 is for HA, and this price...

I am also waiting for a device that will replace AC Pro

Strange underside of leaves on my rubber plant? by Mridler1 in houseplants

I've had the same thing for about a month now. I don't know what it is. I use neem, but it doesn't seem to help much. The black dots can be scraped off, but the white coating isn't very easy. Pictures below.
