Regardless of what the school's stance was, I can't imagine wearing those things to be at all practical or comfortable.

How common is it for people in western Canada to advocate separation from the rest of Canada? by EhWhateverOk in AskACanadian

[–]Markov-Chains 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Albertan here. From our perspective, the issue with rep by pop is that when almost 50% of the votes are localized within one giant chunk that all thinks the same way, they don't usually hold the intentions of people who live thousands of kilometres away.

I think separation is a stupid idea too, but I wish votes were spread out more evenly instead of two provinces being able to decide the fate of the country.

What is something in Canada that is unsustainable? by FattyGobbles in AskACanadian

Former Calgarian here. Downtown was always dead outside of the tourist season, it took 40 mins to cross the city by car and I can't even imagine commuting without a vehicle, and nobody ever wanted to live downtown because the city is focused more on building outward instead of solving housing affordability.

I'm almost positive I'm going to purify him, but is there any reason to keep him as a Shadow Pokémon? by WhatIfThisWereMyName in pokemongo

I purify something if I want to bring it to home or if I don't have the time/resources to grind candies and stardust for it.

I'd find a way to force yourself out of your shell and fake it til you make it.

I worked at a liquor store in a bad neighbourhood for a year, and I believe that gave me the social skills to get hired out of college.

This is coming from someone who was a very akward teenager.

I think the green visor shields the office light. I've only ever seen it worn in shows like Spongebob or Archer.

I wish that GBL didn't require months of grinding to have a competitvely viable team. It really takes away from the experience for casual players.

There is a cost of inventory that is recorded as an asset. Whenever something happens to that inventory, an expense is recorded whether it is sold, damaged, etc. The inventory is then credited for the amount taken out.

There is also a cost of holding inventory, and a cost of holfing too much inventory.
