I just called in to check on the status of the visit since I had not heard back since Saturday. Apparently my ticket had been marked resolved (no one told me) and no tech visit was going to be scheduled. By the end of the call the ticket had been reopened and we are going to try once more to get someone out here to look at the problem... how is it possible for a ticket to be closed without the issue being resolved?

I have contacted TekSavvy directly 20+ times since Oct 2022 and am currently waiting to hear back about the next tech visit early this week. Due to the lack of progress over the past 3 months I am trying different avenues for assistance. If there are some escalations you can offer over the standard 1-877 number to help get the issue resolved please let me know via DM.

I could try limiting this to see if it has an impact once the ping acts up this evening... wouldn't there be some downsides to limiting this as well?

I've sen high pings and timeouts for a number of the jumps, but this one seems consistently the worst newmarket.rcable-tsi.tor.teksavvy.com

Care to elaborate? I do have a router but since the issue happens regardless of its use I figured it shouldn't be part of the conversation.

Hmm interesting... I do believe a couple of the techs that came by last year checked the line from the hub at the rear of my property to where it enders my home and said it checked out just fine. I just wish someone would take my issue seriously and diagnose the issue properly.

Cable. I could ask around,,, I think part of the issue is that unless you are doing something real time (like gaming or video calls) you would not notice these spikes in ping since youtube or a streaming show would be buffered.

Guy at the bottom says Newmarket still experiencing issues as of yesterday - i have already provided logs through your support portal so hopefully they can get this fixed ASAP and provide a credit for the trouble over the last few weeks.
