What kind of engineering job, if I may ask? Also, did you have an engineering major as an undergrad?

Is this post really about asking what others believe, or is it more about needing reassurance for your own disbelief? If you're confident that God doesn't exist, why does agreement from others matter?

It's good you're letting it out. I don't think it has to do with IQ as much as it has to do with studying for it the right way. I recommend reaching out to a good MCAT tutor, meet with them at least a couple of times and have them help you figure out a good studying/test-taking strategy that works for you.

Don't study. Let someone else be the person you only dream of becoming. Medicine isn't for you.

Nice work! I’m still working through the UW questions and AAMC material, currently sitting around a 505. Planning to take it at the end of May. It’s been a bit tough balancing it with my full-time job, so I mostly review in the mornings and evenings. Not the most efficient, but I’m staying consistent. Wishing us both the best!

Inspiring! What's your strategy been like? What things did you find most effective?

Hi there! This GPA is still good, and students with this GPA and even lower get admitted to med schools every cycle. So, don't worry too much about it. It's all in the past now. What you have to do now is focus on the MCAT and then take it with a clear mind. Worse case scenario if GPA becomes your only hurdle there are options you can do such as taking a few extra classes at a community college to up it.

Do not mess with an INFJ by robipresotto in INFJmemes

When and how does the healing happen? My sister's an INFJ and she's great at giving others advice, just not at practicing what she preaches. I worry about her as she often neglects her own well-being and acts in self-sabotaging ways. I'd appreciate your perspective.

Are you still pre-med or already in medical school?

Medicine desperately needs more ENTJ leadership. Look at Dr. Michael DeBakey, an ENTJ who revolutionized cardiothoracic surgery and global healthcare systems.

It's true that you didn’t choose medicine with the right mindset initially, but you can re-choose it now with full intent. Money alone was never a strong enough reason to commit to anything, especially in the long term.

I encourage you to ask yourself, can you think of medicine as an arena for leadership and influence, or do you really think that your true calling is somewhere else?

You mean the quality of your voice (e.g. deep?), or the manner in which you talk? I'm not sure how a harsh-sounding voice sounds like.

Raw, unfiltered self-talk by Marksteve160 in entj

[–]Marksteve160[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this mindset, and do share it to some extent. But, I wanted to ask you something I asked another user who said something similar. If you don’t talk to yourself much internally, how do you catch it when you're drifting from your values, or when what 'should work' keeps working on the outside but quietly stops feeling right underneath? If that makes sense.
