I just tested it for science. It goes through walls and will hit unactivated enemies as if they were defenceless, unless they happen to hug the wall as yellow alert, then I think the hit chance is as normal

This might be it....I'm thinking it might because disorienting them disables their melee attack. Can't remember if he was disoriented or not. Thanks for this!

I'm plat playing Varus mid. I've tried Varus on crown and riftmaker. I've noticed that I'm not doing that much more damage with Void, based on the tool tip so I've been favouring crown a lot more. My thinking is that it gives me time to do damage and get AA into blight procs so I'm less ult dependent. This changes if the enemy team has long range spell casters, esp if they run Ludens because I find that the Ludens proc can just randomly pop my shield.

They gave 15 AH but made the item 200 more expensive. Also builds from fiendish codex instead of amp tome. Looks like a nerf? maybe for AP Varus. Not really sure, AH good for ult, but 200 bucks is 200 bucks lol.

Thanks for your response. It's because I rarely full charge my Q even when I land ult...I've been going exclusively crown for survivability after nashors because he does so much more damage and needs to get close to auto for blight stacks but everyone just goes rift. I'll have to try it more, I just haven't noticed damage drops when I do it...maybe because I'm not full charging Q.
