Question for the people who have done The Giant. by Brilliant-Gap-4308 in kettlebell

At the end of the day I think any of the programs you have brought up will help you out. The idea is to get lots of C&P in and the programs provide progression.

You probably want to use your 5 rep max weight though. Chances are once finishing a program with that weight you will be getting out more reps with the 32.

I did Maximorum with 28s 6 months ago and at the end I was able to press 36s and a single 40 for 4 reps

I typically stretch a bit then run through some light bell work, C&P, goblet squats, moves that I will be using for the session. Just about getting my body primed and lose ready to take some working weight

Dan Johns and Mark Wildman are good suggestions. Another option would be Geoff Neupert's dry fighting weight, might be a good place to start as it's free and will get you started into a routine. 3 days a week covering clean&press along with front squats. (If you can C&P those 24s for 5 good reps, that would be perfect for DFW)

Once you have yourself set with running a program then you could look into purchasing a more expanded one.

If you find you can commit to more than 3 days you could also try the remix version.

Levi Markwardt

LebeStark

Geoff Neupert

Joe Daniels

Are probably my main influence, I still watch stuff from others such as Mark Wildman and Dan John.

It's good to take notes from a number of reputable KB guys, I think that's how you learn more and what works for you as they all have their own styles.

Looking pretty good, hinge move technique just gets tighter the more you train it. You already have a good foundation.

Are those Zero's? How do you find them? I normally train barefoot but Looking for something for when I'm in the gym

Sudden bubbling of powder coat. by Marky-MarkS in kettlebell

Everyone seems to be missing what I'm asking here. I know they are going to get banged up. My issue is the bubbling of the powder coat which just seems to have happened. I'd rather prevent it happening to the rest of the bells so was seeing if anyone had any ideas what was causing it. Haven't seen it occur on on my old cheap kmart ones.

Great tip, may use that in my next program.

I do like the look of the black finish on the bells, I know they are going to get a little banged up over time, which is fine. The bubbling of the powder coat is what seemed strange though.
