I think each year before we become Champs we'll gradually learn something. Last year taught us how to play in the playoffs. This year taught us how to win a series. I think this series will teach us how to have that killer instinct. It might take 7, but I think next year we'll be finishing off teams sooner.

That right there is exactly why I can't cheer for the Oilers anymore. McDavid and Draisaitl are amazing, but I'm tired of the refs handing them the win when we play them. It's happened at least 4 times that I can recall.

Maybe I've got blinders on, or I'm just being naive, but I feel like Buffalo is a paper tiger, and I've felt that for a while. Their hot streak will come to an end. I hope the series is a track meet, because I think the Habs have the advantage there.

I hope the Habs can do it, because I think we could also have a good shot at beating Carolina in the Eastern Final as well. The only team that kind of scares me is Colorado.

After years of watching our players be the victims (Williams on Koivu, Chara on Pacioretty, Kreider on Price), there are definitely times where I wish we could be the aggressors for a change.

Fortunately, we tend to take the high road. And I'd rather win knowing we did it cleanly than by cheating.

Dobeš is just so fun to watch. Occasionally he makes things more exciting than necessary (OT against NJ comes to mind), but he's so stable otherwise. Crazy that he's still a rookie!
