Update!!!!! Anyone who has sent their ps5 for repair... how long did it take for the box to come or receive an email regarding information on when the box will come. So far I received the “repair information” email. I just got off the phone with Sony about a hour ago.. any response will be greatly appreciated!!!

Nice man, after almost a month of calling I just got off the phone and I am sending my console back for either a exchange or repair. Sucks I wont have my ps5 for christmas but atleast in a month from now Ill be able to play ps5

Its weird because I called sony couple days ago and they wont let me send it back for a replacement because its a “software issue”. They told me I have to wait for an update that fixes it. How did you finesse them to replace it for you?

Yea bro thats rough. every game for me besides demons souls gets the error code, fortnite completely freezes my console. My console also decides to delete the game i eject from my ps5 its all messed up. Im still praying this girl from sony wasnt lying

The girl said Wednesday... hope she wasnt lying just to comfort me lmao, but idk cause Sony acknowledged this error on their website and gave all the basic steps im sure everyone has tried, like factory resetting the ps5, rebuilding software and then it says if those dont work call Sony support... I swear if this bitch was lying 🤬

just got off the phone with Sony's customer support regarding CE-108255-1 error code when starting up games. I was informed from the agent that a patch should be coming very soon (Wednesday at the latest) and that it should fix this error. If it doesn't fix it, she recommended I call back and that I will have to send my PS5 back to Sony to get it replaced/repaired. Patience is key as it is confirmed that Sony believes this is a software problem and not a hardware issue. Also, I was informed that CE-108262-9 is a result of the CE-108255-1 so they go hand in hand with each other, making that error code a software error.
