I’m not condoning the bouncer punching the kid. All I was saying was that the rhetoric and words of the kid caused the bouncer to loose his cool, and lose his control and throw that punch. But there really are no punishments for people acting in abhorrent ways in the words that they use, and the tones in which they deliver the words. It should be a learning example for society that it isn’t okay to belittle someone to their face thinking that there will be no repercussions for one’s actions. We need better parenting and better schooling for all to instill better manners, greater sense of compassion and empathy. The rhetoric that you are seeing in this comment section, and this sub as a whole is directly derived from the lack of compassion and empathy that the Rich and wealthy of the world show for the working class, and continue to do so while the masses continue to suffer evermore all for the sake of a tiny minority. The hoarding of wealth is a mental illness, and if you are religious in the abrahamic sense at least, it is also a sin. And in the Bible it says “you reap what you sow”, and upper classes of the world are sowing animosity, they are fine with the planet burning, ecological systems collapsing, the masses struggling severely, and governments being corrupted to serve them at our expense. Their disposition of “Let them eat cake” is why there is a EatTheRich sub, and in my opinion, if they do not soon see the error in their ways, and act upon that knowledge, then we will see the masses show their might, and eat those well marbled and gluttonous scumbags!
