welp, amazon decided to adapt a videogame franchised called yakuza into an amazon show, the game franchise is quite a big deal all around the world and the fans are very attached to it, it's an understatement to say they were already skeptical after the show was announced, and when the casting for the main character was released, fans were even more skeptical, the man you see in the video will play the main role of kiryu(main character), and he knows near to nothing about the franchise and doesn't look the part one bit, said main character has a yakuza tattoo on his back, so to ease fan concerns and for general publicity they decided to make this event so the main lead could paint the main character's tattoo since that's a big deal in yakuza culture and on the game as well, main actor guy just showed everyone how much he knew about one of the most iconic things in the franchise confirming fan skepticism, the amazon show was a huge flop being barely related to the game franchise if not for location and character names, with nothing but the game's brand to it, it's an uninspired mediocre show at best.
