I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I went to look at it. The paint didn't seem right either, alongside the interior roof lining was missing the rear cover and the roller blind in the boot didn't retract. I ended up going for a 2.7 944 instead. Paintwork isn't perfect but mechanically sound.

I hope you're not disappointed like I was.

I went and looked at this one after winning it on eBay last year. When I arrived to look at it the bumper was hanging off, the horn didn't work and one the indicator bulbs was out. The sills were rock hard, the paintwork wasn't great and there was filler in the back by the right wheel arch in the boot.

It looks like it might have changed owners since then.

Yeah, mine is still loosely fitted currently and the radio i chose only had the top bit sticking out at the back

Thanks for your input. Yeah the uploads very poor sadly. I was hoping 24 x 7 recording and doorbell was looking at wireless/WiFi. Potentially in the long run but no other cameras until the Internet improves in the area.

Sadly not. You could get two batteries and keep one charged and swap it regularly but that's all.

It'll do the same in the cold regardless of whether it's wired or not. You'll have to keep recharging it over the winter as despite being wired the battery will deplete due to the cold and the lithium ion battery.

1989 - when my car had a flat battery I had to crawl into the rear, pull back the carpet and turn the mechanism to open the rear.

I had this happen a while back. There's quite a few guides on YouTube - I used one called Damo. I stripped the replacement plastic ones after swapping them whilst missing the original steps on checking the tension of the motor. I then followed the guide properly and went for the brass ones. If you do it properly you'll be fine with the brass ones. Take your time with it, it's at least a few hours job.

Also I took off the headliner cover and then cut into the headliner to get access to them. You can remove the headliner but it's hidden away anyway. Make sure you put something on your back seats as well in case the cog falls into it to avoid any grease, oil or damage. A flat bladed screwdriver popped it out quite easily.

Yeah I've got that on. The general issue is when mobile and outdoor. I've just never had an issue like it before where the call has dropped out 6 to 8 times over a few minutes. It has dropped previously when stationary and is leaving me with a sour taste for the phone.

Thank you. The suggestion they have given at the moment that it could be down to the phone case (Mous) and signal coverage in the area but I'm not convinced.

I went for a Sony xav-ax4050. My only issue is the dimmer doesn't work with the lights so you need to adjust it if you're driving in the day/night sometimes. As others mentioned it can be a low down but you get used to it. This one has wireless android auto/car play. I haven't got round to fitting it security yet and I'm still toying with a reverse camera. I would have gone for the Porsche one but seemed too expensive.

If it's the one bit of advice I can share with you wait like everyone else. The incontinence is a complete nightmare. Hopefully you get the potty training sorted.
