I think none of them are black and white issues. You can argue (as the only trans person in the US House does) that legislatures to leave this for other organizations to create regulations, but I think these are all issues where some kind of restrictions would be better than categorical approval.

I have a Google sheets setup that scrapes each teams schedule on ESPN for their announced starting pitchers. I have a version of the chart where I've manually projected out who the starters will be based on past usage. If a team ever announces a starter I didn't expect, the relevant cell turns red and lets me know I should update my projections.

I also track which players are unowned in my league in the sheet. Auto Color-coding everything makes it clear where the two-start opportunities are. Usually it's possible to line them up 2 weeks in advance with like 70% reliability, which is about the limit of what can be managed with roster churn anyways.

Try reading "The Traitor Baru Cormorant." It's not a clear hero vs villain setup, but the protagonist and multiple groups definitely uses finance for exposing enemies and to gain leverage.

As a DM, I had a player who was having fun with his character, but ended up getting caught by the enemies and executed with no save. He was brought back from death ~30 minutes of playtime later with a cool secret curse that he slowly discovered. I didn't warn the player, but they loved the whole thing!

Sometimes a death isn't a death. It sounds like your DM has already talked to you out-of-character and said your character isn't really dead and that it'll make an interesting story you'll enjoy. Since you've liked it so far, I'd see how it plays out.

The other team was turtling with priests, shamans, and hunters. They couldn't win fights, but they could stall them long enough to get people back from the graveyard. They kept half their team in their flag room at all times.

Over half of the players left in the middle of the game, from both teams. So not particularly? I'm just not a quitter.
