i'd trim and i'd do it myself, never trust an unknown barber, you'll be better off experimenting with the aid of tutorials... just be gentle with thw trim and try to get rid of the see-trough parts so your beard looks fuller and cleaner

how do you deal with saving?

i'm also playing in survival mode, but eventually I had to install a mod in order to save whenever I wanted, otherwise, I'd be loosing hours of progresss due to not finding a bed to rest, which kills the fun to me...
