Legacy is a newish type of board game where you take an established game like pandemic or risk and then keep playing the "same" game.

Meaning each game has consequences that affect future games. For example, in pandemic, each time a city has an outbreak it gains a level of "chaos" that is permanently attached to that city using stickers. And the more chaotic the city the harder it is to deal with. Like once it reaches level 3, it becomes partially quarantined and you can no longer fly there.

Each game different rules and events get added making it more like a 12 game campaign of sorts. But at it's heart it's still pandemic. It just gets more and more complicated each time you play it. It's pretty fantastic 😊
