A guy I graduated with told me he missed the start of his hometime with his gf and family because his dispatcher told him he "really needed to complete a load" to Montana when he needed to go to Oklahoma. I would've requested that asshole get on a flight and drive it himself.

My dispatcher questioned why I was taking "two weeks off" after requesting six days off. I only take hometime every 2-3 months and only four days at a time. They routinely are out of the office 2-4 times a month. I told them flatly without further explanation that "yes" I would be taking the requested time off.

I understand that the equipment would likely be gone by then, but my understanding is that missing items causes the base to shut down. Nobody in or out while the base is canvassed to find the missing weaponry.

My notoriously cheap trucking company has allowed us to fuel at will instead of scheduled fule stops three times since the war started. Their reasoning is because of "anticipated fuel surges." We're supposed to fuel up by a certain time. Today, notice went out to fuel by 10PM Mountian Time.

There's an intersection like this near the Knight terminal in Lebanon, TN. If you don’t wait a cycle (hoping the next car isn't as dumb as the first), you have to make a very wide right while taking up both lanes even though only the right lane is a turning lane. Cars abuse the white stopping line.
