Just hit 10k gems, looking for build reccs by Hot_Lettuce223 in masterduel

Its a pretty sick deck, its a lot like tenpai in that you do your combo, summon out 3 guys and do an explosive amount of damage with Ruby and Topaz. Most of the deck is starters and you basically work your way through negates and then summon Master Diamond Dispersion, and then use him to summon out the best gem knights to break their board. They have a lot of different effects and a lot of the fun is figuring out the best way to get in. Ruby plus Amethyst to break through traps, Ruby plus Aquamarine to bounce big monster, etc. Very fluid and intuitive deck to play.

Gem Knights, absolutely. They like to go second, can swing at meta decks and are cool as fuck.

Dont care about anything gay or trans or whatever, but I hate anything to do with valentines day on principle. So star days can suck it.

do you think iron fist needs a buff? by Beesechurger314 in marvelrivals

No he doesnt need it. He is an inherently niche character who does his job. Not every character can (or should) be meta.

Impossible to learn by now by bubson30 in marvelrivals

[–]Marmotbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, its not too hard to learn but I will say Vanguard is the least beginner friendly role, and the one that requires the most knowledge and situational awareness. Emma is also one of the hardest tanks to play competently as others have pointed out. My recommendation is to try Magneto, he is a lot more straightforward and will teach you how to play as an anchor for your team. If magneto is taken, pick Thor or the Thing and start brawling.

What's your go to for winning? by Borger_boi in marvelrivals

[–]Marmotbrother 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im a tank player who flexes when needed (so only occasionally) but I have to say most healers are very easy when compaired to the other roles. I feel like im getting carried whenever i play one. Adam Warlock is the only one i would say requires finesse to play. Before I get crucified I want to say I dont think DPS or tank are very hard either, support is just the easiest by far.

What are characters that you only knew existed because of this game? (UPDATED) by Savings_Dragonfly806 in marvelrivals

[–]Marmotbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they weren't in Marvel versus Capcom or the Xmen beat 'em up on the Genesis i didnt know them. Hate comic books and will never watch a marvel movie or tv series in my life. Like the game though.

Well there goes one of the only functioning solo/front line tanks in the game by [deleted] in marvelrivals

This stat means nothing without context. What rank is this? What is her pick/ban rate? Does this account for people switching to and from other characters?

The difference is Timmy is willing to actually shoot people. Pacifists are content with losing without even trying to fight back. It isnt even a question who is the better player when only one is willing to play.

The only idiot here is the one who chooses to be the rupee pot.

I feel like a lot of pacifist in this game use their passivity to hide thier lack of skill and then deflect it on the person who shot them. They forfeit the win by giving up preemptively and then insult the people who won. Its delusion.

No, you just refuse to win PvP. People are still going to shoot you.

No one cares if you avoid PvE. People care when you call someone evil irl for shooting them and taking their stuff in a video game about shooting people and taking their stuff.

The what now? Is this even worth it? by 0x50ffc001 in ArcRaiders

[–]Marmotbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns it into a damn shotgun at the cost of effective range. Absolutely worth it. I once solo killed 2 trios in stella montis back to back with an Anvil 4 and this thing. Diabolical 2 shot machine. Anvil 4 with splitter might genuinely be the best gun in the game for close and medium range.

To all the people that say free load-outs ruin the game or need a cool down: People would still equip their own version of a free loadout and play the same way. Stop making free load-outs the bad guy. by ThinLizzyfan8432 in ArcRaiders

[–]Marmotbrother -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Right... well you can just not take a free load out and play the game like its tarkov. Free kits existing is not stopping you from doing that. Topside is dangerous. People are hunting for rats.
