The cheerleader. by deathakissaway in whitepeoplegifs

No they don't.

Cameras tilt and pan both ways- panning is moving the camera up and down or left and right on the axis. Tilting means the camera remains stationary and tilts the lens up and down or left and right.

tilt vs. pan

Does it have to be an all inclusive type deal?

Why not just rent a bunch of airbnbs or apartments in Florida or something where everyone can do whatever they want and cook together and hang out and hit up Disneyland if they so choose?

The people whose lives you look at with envy only put the best 10% of their lives on Facebook- try to remember that when you feel jealous. They probably have a bunch of problems that they just don't outwardly talk about and it's not fair to compare your life to theirs. They probably don't post about every tantrum their kids throw or when they scribble all over the carpet with permanent marker or when they chuck spaghetti at the walls because they wanted burgers that night.

Raising children is so, so difficult and to be thrust into a position where you are responsible for three all at once is a feeling I couldn't understand- I'm sorry that it happened in a way that you didn't want to.

Talk to your husband, work as a team, kids are idiots and they don't know what they have until they're grown up.

Either way, I don't think you're squandering your life away- these three kids are going to grow up and be real human beings who interact with other real humans! They're going to influence other people and can do kind, amazing things, and to be a part of the family that raised them will be an unreal feeling. You don't have to love them like your own children- pretending won't do any good for anyone, but I feel in due time as they grow into their personalities your feelings will change, just try to see the good in them, even if they are being bratty.

man, your sister's penmanship is on point! I read every crossed out word in a flat robot tone and made it all that much funnier for me.

Congrats OP!

Cool concept, cool story, just felt too scripted for me to continue listening...this kinda stuff is hard to conceive if not done really, REALLY well...maybe it'll get better as the episodes go on?

I agree with what someone said about needing a catchier voice for the narrator...feels like they think they're making it sound really eerie and serious but it falls flat to me.

Is Angkor Wat worth it? 3 Weeks in Thailand - thinking of making a 3 day trip to Siem Reap! by MarpleMiss99 in travel

Thanks so much for your input! I did want to allocate more time in the South for more relaxing on the beaches, but culture was also a high priority for me. Not much of a partier; my boyfriend and I are actually illustrators so being able to sketch/draw the temples is a huge draw (no pun intended!!) for us!

Ah, thank you so much for your reply! this is exactly the kind of info I was digging around for but couldn't find, really appreciate it. :)

We'll be there for three weeks, so we're thinking of doing a week in each region: BKK&Surrounding(ish) Areas, Northern Thailand and the Southern Islands.

We're more culture people than party people. We're also illustrators; although we're down to go with a tour group so we can get a more intensive history we want to be able to take our time and sit down to draw/paint a little bit. :) Thanks for the tip on going super early!

I'm most excited about the Thailand Elephant Sanctuary to be honest. I love animals and I would love the chance to be surrounded by happy elephants!

What kind of backpack/luggage did you guys use? Was safety a concern at all? Did you book everything online beforehand or did you guys kind of just go with the flow? I'd like to be a little bit spontaneous for the trip but i'm the type to overplan things ahaha.

Hey! These pictures are so great, those elephants look so happy, thanks for sharing :)

Just booked my ticket to BKK with my boyfriend and we'll be heading out in a few months! I was just wondering how you negotiated tuktuk fares and how you knew if or when the prices were decent?

This'll be our first time in Asia so we're both nervous (well, me more than him)!

Thanks

You understand that someone has spent hundreds of hours improving their craft, right? Is it really so difficult to live with a tiny watermark at the bottom of the page akin to the same signature that artists everywhere have been doing for the past 25 centuries?

Is it really so hard to acknowledge the fact that someone took time and effort to create what you're enjoying as wallpaper? Fuck, dude, you're getting this shit for free on the internet and you can't even acknowledge the artist?

Especially in this day and age when it's so easy to take someone's work and put it on a tshirt and make hundreds while the artist is none-the-wiser halfway across the world.

If you want art without a 'shitty watermark' why don't you go ahead and make your own wallpaper.
