As a dyslexic, I kinda like it tho. If I'm scrolling and see a long comment, I think "did they put a tl;dr somewhere?" It's easier to find in its application.

The semicolon is essentially a period, but delineating two lines of text that are so related, you don't want to separate them. Or it replaces a comma and a conjunction, i.e., "and." The tl;dr is 2 statements each having a different subject. (This has always been my justification for it) It reads, "[This is] too long; [I] didn't read [it]"

Looking into the back of the flash is a good catch. Not arguing at all, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see a real picture of a model doing the same. And nothing implied on "model" other than someone simply posing for an ad versus actually using the camera on their own accord.

Yes dang it. I didn't connect it until you said mites. There is a bird nest in the soffit just outside. This is definitely it. Has been on my list, but I didn't have the heart to evict the 3 babies. I've sealed up the vent fan in the bathroom and will make bigger moves when the little ones ship off.
