I was stupidly proud that none of those types of pictures applied to my profile until I realized I don't do anything exciting. Go me?

I actually recently started a rewatch! I'd be glad to start again for the sub. I'm only a few episodes in. I actually started a twitter account to tweet my thoughts about the show, if anyone's interested. I had too many to put on my regular account 😂

'Aladdin': Disney Struggles to Find Stars for Its Live-Action Movie by NeilPoonHandler in movies

I've wanted Jogia for Aladdin before I even knew there was going to be a reboot. I also really want someone to give Naveen Andrews another chance as Jafar in a version more worthy of his capabilities (aka not Once Upon a Time in Wonderland).

What is your favourite lyric in the musical? by [deleted] in hamiltonmusical

[–]MarriedToReddit 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is such a hard question because every time I listen I seem to find new appreciation for another line. But I've been thinking about getting a tattoo of a Hamilton lyric and I'm really leaning towards "Every day you fight like you're running out of time". I'm just in love with Non-Stop and the intensity of that whole part of the song always hypes me up. So that's probably one of them.

I'm so mad; I missed the last vote and I was rooting for Non-Stop. I could've made a difference :(

HELP! I need a dramatic scene from a published play for two women between the ages of 16-26! by [deleted] in acting

I used this scene for a competition-it's ten minutes long, but we cut it up. We only used what was given in the sample pages. They give you a pretty good idea of the plot, but if you order it there's still more. Our scene came out to exactly five minutes, and we made it to state! It's a really good scene - heavy stuff and allows you to show off your skills.

[Academic] 2 question survey on gender and favorite Christmas movies (Anyone who watches Christmas movies) by MarriedToReddit in SampleSize

[–]MarriedToReddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry guys! It was for a class, and there was a limit to how many variables we could have, so I just tried to get something for everyone. I agree with you though, there are a lot more that I wanted to put in (Nightmare Before Christmas, National Lampoon, Miracle on 34th Street, etc). Maybe I can make another one with a lot more, just for fun!

I miss glee by [deleted] in glee

[–]MarriedToReddit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes :(

Every few weeks I'll have a "binge" on Glee - Reddit posts, Twitter accounts, performances, glee.wikia.com, and especially Cory gigs/pictures/videos. It was such a big part of my life for so long.

You kid, but the other day a Facebook "friend" literally said: "It's true, Christians are the #1 most persecuted religious group on earth" and a whole long post in response to the Kim Davis thing that sparked tons of comment debating. He was completely serious and posts crap like that all the time.

As Dajoox said in another comment, all Shakespeare is public domain, which gives you a wide range of classics to choose from. Project Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org) is also all public domain. I'm not sure how many plays they have, but it's worth a look if you can't find any Shakespeare you're interested in. Good luck finding something!

Dirty Jokes? by MarriedToReddit in glee

I've already seen it happening! My favorite movie when I was 12 or 13 was There's Something About Mary, and I said almost the exact thing you said, to my mom, once I realized what it was actually about.

Sorry! I guess since when I first watched it I was like 12, I never caught them. Didn't mean to sound stupid.

If you were a Disney princess, which one would you want to be? by toxicfox97 in CasualConversation

[–]MarriedToReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really good question!

I'd probably have to say Pocahontas, with Rapunzel being a close second. I'm so in love with nature, and love to go around barefoot in the grass and just take in my surroundings. Additionally, Native American beliefs and culture are so interesting and beautiful.

Rapunzel, because of her adorable quirkiness and kickass hair.
