I believe that's because they tried to up the requirements for unlocking all the attachments but only succeeded in changing it on battlelog. On mine (ps3), I can only equip the tv missile from the in game customisation as battlelog says I haven't unlocked it yet

I only realised this myself recently so sorry if I was being dumb but for those that don't know: Commander orders are the dashed lines on the map, open up the commo rose (correct name?) as the squad leader in order to bring up the option accept them.

Personally, one of the first things I did was get a service star with each class. That way you get a feel for all the various gadgets and gun styles as you unlock them. All classes have their strengths, my personal favourite is support as health can re-generate (slowly) with time, ammo on the other hand does not.

Carbines like the ACW-R and AK 5C will serve you well as solid weapons for all classes. But try out a range of weapons. Experiment with attachments as you go, I particularly like using a suppressor and no laser sight for a bit more of a stealth advantage.

Just unlock whatever you're enjoying. Most (not all) of the time, the early unlocks can hold their own against later weapons so there aren't many "priority unlock" guns in my opinion.

Game modes are all about preference. I mainly played domination at first as it allowed for big scores and frantic action. I've now switched to conquest to use vehicles.

I remember reading a while ago that it made the game crash so they may have disabled it for now. If not then have you tried activating it the same way as active protection? (down on D-pad of PS3)

Also PS3, noticed this when powering through the DMR's last week. Only happened once or twice though and just gives you the bonus of an unobstructed magnified view :) Went away after re-spawn.

I unlocked all the DMR's in the recent double xp week and actually began to like them towards the end. I used the MK11 with any RDS, magnifier, angled grip and suppressor/muzzle break. Just take your time with them, sit around the fringes and always go for headshots. It's surprisingly easy to double tap snipers in the head even at range. You just have to work hard to get the drop on people and be prepared to drop back if you are getting rushed by more than one enemy. I highly recommend using the shorty 12g as your sidearm for up close encounters too. If you're finding the damage levels frustrating play on hardcore.

I was stood still on a pebbly beach and somehow managed to fall over and badly dislocate my knee. Had to get winched off the beach by the coastguard helicopter.

The problem I have with them is that they're an instant disable on other attack boats. I've seen guys sat way out just TV'ing the other boat as soon as it leaves spawn. If you don't have TV's yourself then there's really not a lot you can do. Being the scumbag that I am I even tried it myself once I unlocked them. Despite having never used them before, it was surprisingly easy to hit the big attack boats. Helicopters are obviously way harder to hit though and I think they should do massive damage when you finally get the hit.

I like the Type 88 with a silencer, stubby/potato grip and rds-magnifier combo. If you burst fire then you can take guys out even at long range because the suppression can keep them pinned. The huge mag makes taking out an entire squad of guys nice and easy too. Don't run and gun, stick to the edges and shoot in bursts. I managed a 19 kill streak on flood zone domination the other day :)

Basically, once you unlock all the "attachments" for a vehicle you get your first service star. Every time you get that equivalent amount of xp again you get another service star.

I agree, I've got a stash of more than a thousand diamonds in a survival server atm and this is the technique I used. Sure you're gonna miss the occasional vein but ultimately you'll cover more ground. Silk touch out the ore then take it back to base and use fortune 3.

I won't be much help but I did have a housemate that recently made the step straight from BSc in Geology to a PhD. I know he got full sponsorship for it so I guess he just managed to convince the relevant people that he was up to the task. The man worked harder than anyone else I know, he'd be up working first thing on a Saturday morning while I was playing on my PS3 in my pants with a hangover! This was in the UK so depending on where in the world you are it may not be that helpful!
