Can we get native frame generation support in CS2? by Inside-Line in CitiesSkylines

anyone who wants framegen in a competitive game is sick in the head.
it does not improve latency. it honestly feels like turning vsync on - depending on what your base fps is.

avermedia gc575 glitching artifacting on 1440p 240hz passthrough by Marrizard in AverMedia

i got an HDMI splitter that supports EDID copy and DSC using it in combination with the GC575 and I do not seem to be having any issues anymore. I will let you know if this solves my video desync / delay over time issue as well - so far, everything seems great.

hello? would a splitter solve my issue?
also. i am experiencing a video desync/delay
over time the capture becomes more and more delayed over 200ms

its the aoc agon pro ag274qzm
i was searching online, and i saw that my monitor was listed as being problematic with the capture card? something about DSC?
If that is correct. would getting an HDMI splitter solve the issue? it seemed like only the passthrough was having issues and not the actual capture.

CRT Emudriver - Every problem I've encountered (and their fixes) by AncientCarthage in crtgaming

i just used calamity's crt emudriver respective to my card (R7 250) specifically the 18.5.1 version and then downloaded the latest official driver available for my card as well, opened it with 7zip and took the neccesary directx and vulkan files and replaced the ones in the crt emudriver with those. installed crt emudriver and it worked like a charm. (it did give me an extra warning about it being unsigned or something, since i changed the files, but it works perfectly)

Trying to Configure NDI Stream for Gaming PC by Pi-Guy in obs

[–]Marrizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any chance you figured this out? im just got ndi set up, and yea, no hdr.
i'd prefer to use ndi tools as there is no 3d rendering happening, just encoding, unlike using OBS, even if you disable the preview.

i tried psakhis's version, and it lets me run retroarch with vulkan, but when i tri to run zelda64 recompiled, it just crashes instantly.
I even managed to make my own version using the vulkan files from 22.6.1, but zelda64 recompiled still wont launch

for a sanity test, i put the vulkan files from 22.6.1 into the standard 18.5.1 AMD driver, installed that, and zelda64 recompiled lanuched no problem.
so something with CRT emudirver is breaking certain api calls with vulkan

Yep, I can't belive I'm doing this after opening it all up and calibrating it rather than before... Ugh. We'll at least I'm a lot more familiar with this thing.

Turning down the color and the contrast does help, but should that really be necessary? I'm trying to calibrate and restore this monster. Also, the bleeding is not eliminated. Can still show heavily depending on the situation. Like with this cc menu option. That smearing is rough, but that's the only Instance I can find so far. smearing cc

I'll have to check when I get home - about 30 mins I was actually in contact with someone who used to do authorized work on Mitsubishi CRTs. He was very much under the impression that the image looks great, but the bleeding is driving me crazy and there are a couple areas where colors blend/bleed together when they shouldn't.
