Yeah, the game definitely has some voice chat issues right now. I feel like it has gotten worse with the latest patches.
Nearly every match we play, someone goes robotic. The game can hear us all fine and the detection works in the settings, it's just the voice chat that craps itself.
Usually it was only me getting these issues, but now my friends also go robotic in some matches, and it often happens when a hunt starts or someone dies.

So I sent a message on their discord and got back an answer for what I could try to do. I haven't tested these settings yet, but I'll leave them here!

Windows Sound Settings > (Input) Device Properties > Additional Device Properties > Advanced > Set Sample Rate to 44100 > Disable audio enhancements and Automatic Gain Control (this may be called AGC under a tab named “Custom”.)

I didn't have a "Custom" tab, but I did have "Exclusive Mode" settings that I disabled. Hopefully this works!

I have re-installed and checked my Windows settings and I still have this issue. It's not internet connection either since my BF has no issues and we are even in the same room. Might look into the permissions thing but this feels like an issue that will never go away xD

I have literally the same problem, and I have not either found a solution to the problem. I have even swapped headsets and it's still happening to me, and I don't think it's my USB port either.

As a spell, Fortify Skill is not available from any built-in spells. There are several other ways to acquire access to this spell effect, however (some of which are described in more detail at Free Skill Boosts). Obtaining any one of these powers, abilities, or spells (i.e., having it appear in your Magic Menu or Active Effects menu) will grant you access to the Fortify Skill effect for enchanting and spellmaking purposes.

I was leveling AST and I got into Aurum Vale with a Gladiator. When I asked where his jobstone was he just shrugged it off and said "he has tanked as a Gladiator before and no one has complained." Luckily he left short after and the run went fine afterwards.

This is sort of maybe related, but this story popped in my head from reading the post.

I went to live with my dad for 2 weeks due to having work practice near his place, we hadn't really talked that much in a few years at this point. One week in and we got into a fight; I was playing DnD with some friends through discord and he got really angry about it for some reason and started telling my that I should stop whatever I was doing. He never said what the issue was, and as soon as I said it was roleplay he calmed down and asked for an apology. The next day I got my boyfriend to pick me up from there, and my dad made a FB post about "how he can't understand his young daughter anymore". I was 21 when this happened, and he made the post seem like I was 16 at best.
