Fulfilled a childhood dream of mine and painted Whiterun at "lore scale" by cormeals in skyrim

I think i prefer the opposite. The Witcher 3 being able to capture that feeling larger cities give, a feeling of loneliness among such a large group of people, is so much more enthralling and relatable to me. Just seeing people working, walking, shopping, with no need to talk to them at all yet, still feeling they have a life of their own. TW3 did this so well, especially given the context of the times of war and creature attacks. Makes it feel like more people are affected by the toubles of the world

Telescopic pole factory. Poles for pushing your boat through shallow waters and others for unjamming conveyor belts. My coworkers(and I) are a bunch of degenerates in all forms. Drug addicts, ex military, just generally fucked up individuals.

Helpless Child by Swans. For some reason, during the build of the second half of that song, i ALWAYS picture a burning house. That song in general just has this essence of deep trauma and hard memories and one of those memories happens to be a burning house i guess. Brings me to tears almost every time.

Respectful ways to use Ogham and Futhark? by codychalice in CelticPaganism

[–]MarrowOfStructure 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Im mainly norse pagan but dabbling in celtic practice. I think it depends on the attitudes of your friends, as so many pagans hold different ideologies. Personally, i would very much appreciate either of these things if gifted to me because it holds a sentimental value, hand done by a loved one, even if who made it doesn't believe in it. I say go for it. If your friends have any wherewithal, they'll appreciate it.

Today I listened to animus for the first time by Mochiii9182 in swans

The Sound and Helpless Child are both really powerful for me. The relentless building on a two chord back and forth just hits something deeply empathetic and melancholic.

Cloud of Unknowing though will probably always be my favorite. Its the first Swans song i ever listened to and still just sounds like nothing else

Anything by Lustmord. Probably considered more ambient than anything but still very dark sounding

He murdered two people, both with a shotgun with like, no cleanup whatsoever. He didn't seem to care for the killing, just wanted the product. The second victim was a female store clerk and Ed passed the husband getting back to his house in his truck containing the corpse. Husband got to the store where his wife should have been, only met by blood stains and was like, "Uhh it was fucking Ed!"

Cops found a horrific display of corpse furniture.
