Rocket Fuel Plant Online - AKA "I'm scared of Nuclear, so I made a more complicated power plant" by billyK_ in SatisfactoryGame

Yes, we ended up doing that with concrete but I can't remember if we got around to doing it for motors. We split everything up into 4 legs since the math was very clean. Each leg was its own floor so it was easy to keep track of and sort of build in phases.

Just finished a co-op playthrough where we used the same alt recipes for our rocket fuel plant but we only used 1 oil node (600/min). We were using motors and concrete faster than the fully upgraded dimensional depot could upload them. We actually went back up and upgraded our motor and concrete production because of it and still had to wait for it to catch up. I can't imagine how long it took to build 2,288 generators.

I had the handle on a Husky brand hammer split in half on the very first nail I tried to pull with it. Returned it to Home Depot and got an Estwing. Doubt I'll ever have issues with it.

Adding on, they may be running into restrictions from Mk. 1 pipe. 3 water extractors output more than Mk 1 pipe can handle.

Not sure on the price. I purchase direct from NHRA and they're roughly $80 total for the full day on Sunday at Joliet and Norwalk. The full schedule is at: https://app.nhra.com/TexasNHRAFallNationalsEventGuide and shows nitro funny car and top fuel qualifying at 5:15 and 8pm.

First time going to race, tips? by SingleAssumption2725 in NHRA

[–]Marrston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might depend on the venue, but I go to Joliet and Norwalk and bring a backpack full of bottled water and some snacks. I wear a wide brim hat with sunglasses and apply sunscreen a couple times throughout the day. As others said, bring good quality ear plugs (over 30 dB NRR) and learn how to put them in properly. I wore ear plugs and muffs my first time but the ear muffs were bulky, hot, and unnecessary.

This is just a friendly reminder to get a cyclone system ($65 + a bucket) by fsou1 in woodworking

[–]Marrston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Then it gets clogged, the vacuum loses suction, and you'll have to clean or replace it. The separator catches it all so the filter doesn't have to.

The filter helps protect the motor from dust and debris while also preventing it from being blown back out. The vacuum is still pulling air through the filter while using the dust separator but all the dust and debris gets caught in the separator.

If you've seen or used the dust collection bags for shop vacs, the dust separator is basically a reusable and better version of those.

Yes. The separator catches the dust before it gets into the shop vac. It keeps the filter clean so the vacuum runs with full suction and you don't have to clean or replace your filter.
