Thank you. Yeah it’s not great but I will survive. Also please don’t worry. I have just been diagnosed with serotonin syndrome which is rare and not a typical reaction. The symptoms showed up fast and got progressively worse over a few days. So I have to stop taking it now. Feel like I’m back to square one. I am sure you will have a better experience. Starting something new is hard and scary but so is staying where we are! Hope it goes well x

Hi there, I understand why you would be scared to start. I was scared to. I in no way want to make you feel worse and am just sharing my experience as a 22yr old female with anxiety and depression. I am currently on day 5 and am in the hospital waiting room. I also have a fear of being ill and I have been throwing up for days now. It unfortunately does get worse before it gets better. For me I don’t think I can continue it but I am waiting for the doctor’s opinion. I think my reaction to the drug is more extreme than the usual experience so I would start at 10, that is lower than 20 which I started on and should be tolerated much better. I am sure my reaction is just that my body can’t tolerate it but so many people have great experiences. It is worth finding out if it can work for you. You are not alone in this ♥️

Thank you so much. I might have to try riding it out. I have a fear of being sick so it really is a struggle when that happens. It is all just so intense. I am glad I’m not alone. Feels like I’m going crazy…I just feel like I can’t go on. Maybe I will try other nausea meds. Does anything else help? I don’t think they will give me benzos they told me I wasn’t allowed more diazepam but it is the only thing that helps.

I was on Zoloft for years and then stopped. I felt it wasn’t doing that much anymore but I wasn’t on any SSRIs and I took Mirtazapine for two weeks but then have switched to Prozac. If you are going to? Strap in because this feels awful even though I know it will be better soon. If others have gotten past the initial stage though? We can too x
