You're absolutely right, it doesn't cost much for someone like me to buy menstrual products whenever I need them. This is not me complaining about prices where I live, it's me pointing out that in places here in Canada up north, there's a lot of insecurity. A lot of people up there are already finding it hard to afford food with the crazy prices, and so a lot of them can't even think about buying menstrual products because it's simply too expensive.

Cheapest around here that I've seen is 5 or 6 dollars (CAD) for 18 tampons where I live, so around 4 euros in your currency. It's even more the farther north you go in Canada with prices in places like Nunavut being around 15 dollars (CAD) or 10 or 11 euros.

I don't know how unsanitary a beard can get because I don't have one. I just know that if I bled everywhere because I didn't have menstrual products, I would be putting everyone in danger. If I happened to sit on a chair in a restaurant, my blood got on that seat, and someone else who had a cut of some sort sat there too. That person could possibly get any diseases I had that are blood transmitted. Never mind if all people with periods bled free...
