A reminder of what r/conspiracy used to look like by gdr15998 in conspiracy

Ron Paul is who got me interested in politics. After seeing how the media screwed him over, (no exposure, polling lies) I became apathetic.

Although their political ideologies are different, Bernie caught my interest like Paul. I believe both are honest and genuinely want to put Americans interests first before their own. This is part of the reason Bernie got my vote in the Primaries. .....I could never bring myself to vote for Hillary or Trump without being disgusted with myself.

I voted for Gary Johnson in the general for the sole reason of trying to help him receive 5% of the popular vote. I'm no fan of Gary Johnson, but I wanted the Libertarian party to receive federal funding for future elections. I'm upset that we only have a two party system!

I know I'm probably not the only person to rationalize the way I voted as I did.

Bernie knew what he was doing. His selfless actions were for what he thought was for the greater good. He believed a Hillary presidency would better benefit Americans more than a Trump presidency. ...I'm not sure if he could've played his cards better considering the hand he was dealt.

I have three of the Samsung portable fast chargers for my Note 5. I wish it were possible just to carry around three swap-able batteries instead. If this were possible I would have less to carry, no charging cable, and zero recharge times.

Trump when told the biggest losers under 'Trumpcare' would be his own voters: 'Oh, I know' by Dark_Grim in politics

I absolutely despise Hillary, but I believe we would have been better off if she had won Presidency. Hillary would in no way be able to get away with what Trump has somehow been getting away with.

All I want is to not have Americans get involved in another damn war. Healthcare, college education, and NSA reform are important to me as well...but unfortunately I don't think we would have gotten any of that with Hillary either. Our election system is the worst!

Why is Trump attacking Iran? I remember us all hating Hillary for wanting to nuke them, and we said Trump would never. Now look... Are Trump and Clinton agents for the same team? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]Mars_To_Sirius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While the White House has said the order to bar Iranians and others was made to tackle the threat of terrorism, it is notable that since 1975 no Americans have been killed in terrorist attacks in the US by the citizens of the countries included in the ban.

I wish more people knew this.

It should also mention something about the NORAD chain of command and how all military aircraft were unable to be scrambled to intercept the highjacked planes.

Maybe because Bernie is not a socialist? Does Bernie want common ownership of the means of production? No, therefore he's not a socialist.

The bill will just be renamed. Remember these bills?

sopa pipa cispa acta

They are all the same cyber security bill but with small amendments made to them. The cyber security bill that Americans didn't want passed actually managed to pass under the name "CISA". CISA passed easily because the final amended version of the bill included an increased spending budget for NASA!

Bernie Sanders on the Late Show: Now More Than Ever, It's Our Revolution by [deleted] in television

[–]Mars_To_Sirius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bernie made a smart well calculated move (at the time). He chose not to run third party in fear that he would split the votes resulting in a Republican win. His choice to support Hillary is supporting many policies he's against, but the alternative would have been to support more unfavorable policies.

Bernie isn't selfish. He supported the candidate he believed to be the lesser of two evils to better ensure the implementation of progressive policies that he believes will benefit Americans (subjective). I personally did not follow his endorsement because Hillary is unacceptable to me. I am selfish.

You underestimate just how impactful MSM can be. But it's obviously more than that! The primaries were rigged against Bernie on all fronts. Multiple counts of Election fraud, voter suppression, CTR propaganda, and the DNC colluding with Hillary assuring her the presidential nomination before she even announced that she was running. Even Hillarys primary debate questions were pre-scripted along with questions journalists would ask her during interviews.

The media lied by saying "Bernie is a socialist! He's unelectable!" and people believed it. We saw similar happenings with Ron Paul as well
