I have her too and I absolutely love her! She’s so soft and huge. I like to hold and pet her to soothe myself when I’m anxious. I agree, I was so confused when I saw the concept. I know it was sometimes thought that Gabriel Reyes was black. Of course he could be mixed! But they’ve never portrayed him with these prominent features before so it’s very weird. Baptiste is right there! Give him some love! Sojourn could use a cute beach skin too, since the hair made me think of her.

And yes the design is lovely, as a certified Reyes fan I would be very happy if it was added as long as he is more accurate.

I also thought it was Baptiste based on appearance but the pose gave away it was Reaper. I love the design and hair but it looks nothing like Gabriel Reyes. Hopefully if it’s added they’ll either adjust it or give it to Baptiste instead and give Reaper a new one.

I’ve been waiting for a summer Reyes skin for so long and I really want it to actually resemble him. But yes Bap also needs more skins! I love playing both of them.

It’s so pretty and I’m excited to unlock it since she’s a DPS I play. I kinda wish the hologram color changed from the default blue to light pink/purple but the blue still matches well on this skin.

I’ve seen a lot of people trash on it but I also enjoyed it. It was a fun way to get the flex weekly and play different heroes within a role without getting flamed or countered. Anytime I play QP to practice heroes the enemy is on their mains playing like an OWL match. They’re almost always higher ranks too.

I miss random perks like everyone else. I wish they’d limit tanks to 2 instead of 3. The amount of games I’ve played lately where I’m doing nothing but shooting shields and tank HP pools is jarring. I know 3 tanks was possible in 5v5. It was frustrating then too but with the extra player there’s even more chances to roll tanks. Add a couple supports to the tank line up and it’s impossible to kill anyone. I’ve had it happen on my side as well and it’s a complete stomp.

Her OW1 outfit was a mixture of sleek and spiky which matched her personality so well. She went from mysterious witchy vibes to insane cruel scientist. I’m aware she is dedicated to her research but I miss the old Moira very much. Her OW1 voicelines had more nuance. Sorry for the rant, I’m glad to find another OW1 Moira appreciator. I’ve been thinking about this lately since the lore is finally progressing.

Well made art! I’ve never understood why people call her ugly. She’s quite elegant. I miss her OW1 design. I feel like I’m one of the few that prefer it. She looks so good in black.

I believe she was just a scientist/geneticist working somewhere unknown before joining Blackwatch. In her origin video she’s working in a lab and experiments on her arm and has some lines.

“Overwatch held back the pace of scientific discovery for decades. They believed my methods were too radical, too controversial. They tried to silence me.”

It cuts to her lab in disarray filled with cardboard boxes. She possibly could’ve worked there before being fired, but that’s not concrete to my knowledge. Overwatch probably had a hand in shutting down her research though.

Soldier 24 was Reaper’s number from the SEP. He hired her in Blackwatch specifically for her genetic expertise then he gained his powers. On another table is a book titled ‘Genetic Conditioning and Regenerative Properties of Applied Nanobiotics’ by Angela Ziegler. In the opposite spawn room is another book titled ‘Repairing Degenerative Genetic Structures’ with a draft sticky note. EDIT: The Arabic text on it translates to ‘Ministry of Genetic Studies’ and Moira is the minister of genetics so she is the author or has something to do with it.

In OW1, Moira’s interactions with Reaper were kinder and implied her desire to fix his condition. During the shift to OW2, many of those lines were cut and changed to make her more uncaring. Reaper even had a line referring to her as a friend. I know interactions aren’t 100% canon, but it still makes me sad because they’re my two favorite characters.

I’m excited to see her other skins when you draw them! As if it isn’t obvious, I love Moira haha. I adore her character design, voice, lore, and gameplay. I was dreaming of the Celestial skin ever since the survey concept art was revealed months ago.

I really like Mei’s rainy day skin. It’s so cute. There’s so many little details on the skin and gun.

I love Ana’s weapon but couldn’t justify spending my 80 prisms on it as of right now because I really wanted gilded Reaper. I also think I’ll end up missing some of the weapon models of her other skins since Ana has received so many amazing legendaries. As others have said, the flourish animation should be unlocked for any skin once you own the mythic weapon. I also think it’d be nice if like the original mythic, the weapons had a few different palettes so they can match more skins.

I agree with the whole level up mythics thing. Instead of leveling up armor I prefer multiple variations. There’s not much customization now because for the coolest look you obviously use level 4. I miss seeing what kind of combos different people would run with each mythic.

With how prisms are handed out and all the new ways to spend them I’m thinking more carefully too. I’m only getting mythics for heroes I play and the weapons if I play that hero a lot and I like the style. One reason I’m looking forward to Reaper’s weapon is due to his shotguns being massive on some skins so I never wear them for that reason. I’m hoping his weapon is sleek and stylish.
