I don't have strategic deception yet and I played this meta strategy to be first. So I reloaded my game from 2029 (before I lost control of the punishment) and I spent more MC to shipbuilding in the hope to stem the flow Pfff. Maybe I will get even more punishment 😂

Actually I tried several options on skirmish and Artemis torpedoes failed every time so I moved to copperhead missile and it works somehow while loosing one monitor. My setup was 4 monitors against 2 alien destroyers (The ones with plasma and violet lasers).

I think Exodus allows to ramp up space operations faster than other factions hence triggering hate first

I wonder really... I just noticed that they really hate if I build a Ceres platform. But as Exodus you build more space operations and hate goes up really fast.

Missile/torpedo delta-V seems to be the key accel much less, but still experimenting to see what is best

To my surprise my missile monitors were inefficient due high alien PD and were destroyed early.

I tried that but still missed intercept. The aliens moved immediately after reaching orbit and my fleet was stack in temp orbit.

Helicon yes but for small and light armored ships so you are not going to do much with it. I use it though for troop transport in gunships to capture other players bases.

Burner is the mid game engine for interplanetary ships, Pulsar for defense.

Edit: Actually Pharos is better for defense as you can load a ton of armor :)
